Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Cardiff

I loved it so much last year that I'm back! Spacious room in a lovely authentic building. A very comfy bed and soft pillows that you will not want to leave. It has everything you need for a stay with fabulous hosts who look after all your needs. All set in a stunning location.

Jill's place is great to stay if catching an early flight, much better than the local soul-less hotels. Its 4mins from the airport! I slept like a log, the linen and towels were exceptional. The room was so beautiful, old wooden beams, amazing, wished I could have stayed longer! Hope to stay again. Thank you.

Quiet place and very private even though there were others there I didn't see anyone. Paul was helpful and flexible about my train delay and much later check in than I initially thought.

A beautiful place in a beautiful peaceful village. Enjoyed waking up to songbirds and exploring the local walking trails and nearby towns. The hosts were super friendly and incredibly helpful.

I highly recommend Deri down guest house, Mike is extremely nice and friendly. He was ok with me coming early and leaving a little bit late. Also he offered a lift to a nearby trail after Taxis canceling on me. I highly recommend this place, it has a great scenery and very is convenient!

Craig’s place was clean and tidy, quiet and peaceful and within a decent distance to the city centre via Ubers/taxis/buses. The little touches that Craig provided were thoughtful and appreciated. Perfect if you need somewhere to stay as a base, but homely if you were staying in too! Thanks for the fab stay. :)

Great stay. Ideally located, close to the railway station and city centre walking. Really clean. Full Breakfast can be booked on top and is truly worth it. Definitely recommended.

We had a wonderful stay at Alan and Val. The home was pristene, the breakfast was restaurant quality and the hosts were great. We will for sure recommend a stay with them!

Teona’s Upper Red House is her special home. We were grateful for this experience in her historic farmhouse and site. We woke in cozy soft beds to watch the sun come up in the morning mist on the Welsh landscape. We walked and enjoyed looking through the books she made easily available too. The Upper Red house was a jumping off place for us to Tintern Abbey, Chepstow Castle and St Fagans National Museum of History. We wish we could have stayed longer with Teona. The Brecon Beacons, Cardiff and Caerphilly Castle are within reach too and still on our wish list. Thank you, Teona!

Trina’s place was very clean and tidy. Trina herself was also very friendly, and my friend and I had a lovely two-night stay there.

Vince was the loveliest host I think we have ever had. super knowledgeable about the surrounding area and gave great ideas of places to see. The house was lovely! really lovely rooms and super spacious. comfy, quiet and relaxed. just what you need after a crazy gig. Whiskey the cat was also the cutest lil mini host. the area is ideal if you have a concert at the principality due to the super close location. absolutely will be back again! if I was to be super picky about anything it would be to have a fan just in case it's the hottest day of the year again haha. 10/10

Had a lovely stay at Val’s place. The place was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up with everything we needed. The bed was cozy, and all the little touches (like extra towels, coffee, and toiletries) made it feel like home. Val and Alan was incredibly welcoming. The neighborhood was quiet and safe, making it a great location for relaxation. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

Outstanding. We were so fortunate to visit Julies Airbnb. Julie (and Paddy) were so welcoming and the accommodation is exceptional. Julie kindly provided a delicious cream tea and the full english breakfast was undoubtedly one of the best we have ever had. Crickhowell offers so much and our only mistake we made was not to stay for more than one night at Julies. Thankyou so much.

We had a lovely stay at Gileston Manor, the house is beautiful and the gardens offer tranquil strolls surrounded by an array of wildlife. I couldn't recommend this venue enough.

We stayed for 1 night after walking pen y fan and the surrounding area with friends. The accommodation is exactly as shown and great value for money, especially if you’re booking all the rooms as the kitchen/sitting room is a communal area. Beer in the pub was great and the locals were very friendly.

We had a wonderful stay in the Versailles Room at Gileston Manor, a beautiful bedroom with all amenities provided. It was very relaxing to enjoy the lovely roll top bath in the room, and of course the wonderful gardens and surroundings. The continental breakfast in the morning was lovely, and check in etc was very easy with friendly staff. We visited the local Blue Anchor Inn which was a fab experience, delicious food in a lovely historic setting. Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Stayed at the place for a night, arrived late due to a long hike but they was very flexible on the arriving times as you collect the keys from the pub downstairs which is open till 12ish. Very clean place, great snacks / light breakfast provided which was a big bonus. Beds comfy / shower is nice and powerful. Didn't manage to grab a drink downstairs as was very tired but the place seemed very friendly / lively. Excellent for commuting to the mountains.

Anita is a wonderful host - nothing was too much trouble for her and we had some lovely chats. She prepared a tasty, healthy breakfast for me and was so helpful and flexible, enabling me to make the most of my time and combine work with what felt like a little break. The house is just beautiful with amazing views of the valley and the bedroom was very comfortable and decorated beautifully. I thoroughly recommend.

Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a single night due to completely unforeseen circumstances. The hosts were able to arrange for our booking to be amended and were very helpful and friendly.

We already loved the pub from previous visits and when Steve showed us the newly refurbished accommodation late last year we knew that we could book with confidence. We had a great day at bike park wales, Steve allowed us to put the (jet washed) bikes in the kitchen area for safe keeping and we made the most of the pub enjoying some live music and the best Guinness in Troed! We will be staying again!
