Waterfront holiday rentals in Cardiff

Great little place to stay. We booked the one with the private terrace which was perfect. Location is spot on too, very near town and only 10 minute taxi to the Bay. Annoyingly I didn't have time to use the shower but the bathroom was very tidy. Was quite weird that the door knew my name but also reassuring that we were in the right place. Not sure if I didn't read the info correctly but there is non permit parking that is quite reasonable right outside the property. I'd booked parking elsewhere but didn't need to. On busy days, it might be needed but we stayed on a week day. Definitely better than a hote and would stay there again.

The apartment is a wonderfully beautiful & peaceful place. My stay has been amazing, the sanctuary of calm & serenity I so desperately needed on a very intense work trip. I tend to get quite home sick when I'm away and this flat has given me the cuddle feeling you get when you are at home. I have no doubt that I will use the apartment as my go to if ever I need to be in Cardiff again. Also, don't be deterred by the traffic, it acts as a lovely faint white noise - it's fabulous for sleeping (and I'm a light sleeper)! I worked from the flat on one of the days, and caught myself meditatively watching the cars go past, the swans milling around and felt very serene. Thank you Claire, for everything, your place is amazing.

Great place to stay for a weekend away in Cardiff. Short walk to Mermaid Quay. Really peaceful location. Spacious and very clean, comfy beds. Bonus of a secure parking space. Host was very friendly and easy to communicate with. Would 100% recommend.

Fabulous location and easily walkable between both the exciting city centre and the culturally inviting Bay area. This accomadation quite rightly boasts its remarkable views of the river, is peaceful and private, modern, comfortable and yes, as cosy as stated! Seriously, the underfloor heating in the bathroom is a joy! This was my first visit to Cardiff and as a writer and tourist I can absolutely say my inspirations were tweaked! The hospitality of Gemma and Shaun was friendly, accomodating and respectful! Perfick!

Great apartment, great help when the iron wasn’t working and had one sorted for us within 20minutes and delivered to the door!

My wife Jan and I stayed at Mark and Helen's Apartment for a few days and found it very spacious and clean with separate living/kitchen/dining, bedroom and large shower /bathroom areas. All the necessary kitchen utensils were included as were toiletries and towels/flannels. Mark was available at all times should we need any help. We would definitely stay at this Apartment again.

Lovely house in a decent location that is walkable to the seafront. Very clean and comfy beds! Bit bright through the blinds from the lamp posts and then first thing in the morning but not a major issue for us. Thank you!!

Beautiful house perfect for family holidays. Loved lazy days out with kids on the kayaks & rowing boat! Would definitely recommend. Alex was a great host & very helpful. Will definitely be back again one day…

We spent 2 weeks at Woodbank House and had the best time. The highlights are the kitchen and the grounds. The skies at night are amazing. Bess is a terrific host, perfect communication and so helpful. Thank you so much, I hope we get a chance to stay again! X

Comfortable house in a peaceful and private setting. Had fun listening and feeding the birds in the garden and on the canal. Great location to walk into the town centre and the bay and had a great stay.

Great place plenty of space inside. Kitchen was done lovely bathrooms nice. Location great for the front near beach and close to restaurants at hill street. Comfortable beds quiet in the evenings. Parking was a problem very difficult to park near the house would be better with permits as so close to front. Otherwise a fantastic stay in good location.

The photos do not do the Drydock Cottage justice - it is even more beautiful than it looks in the photos and also a lot more spacious. The attention to detail and every element of the design that has gone into the conversion of this building is second to none. The location is also absolutely perfect - so peaceful, tucked away in gorgeous grounds with a view straight out onto the canal and across over the valley to the mountains beyond. I could have sat and watched the world go by, including the families of ducks, all day. The home made goodies were very welcoming and I loved every minute of my stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place for people looking to escape to somewhere unique and peaceful.

Gareth is a great host, friendly and helpful. The place was amazing, close to everything you’ll need and see! Would definitely recommend Gareth’s place and I would stay again.

This was the perfect place for our family to come back to each evening to relax. It was clean, cozy, and Lucy had all the accommodations we could’ve asked for. She was very responsive to any questions we had during our stay, and even had a helpful guide in the home. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Lovely Airbnb. Flat was as described and in a good location. The garage was very helpful, we have a 7 seater Peugeot 5008 and it fit. Very clean and tidy. Had everything we needed to cook, close to the station and restaurants nearby. We would stay again if in the area.

The home had everything I needed, in a great location with beautiful touches throughout. I couldn’t be more thankful for the stay, such a great experience from start to finish. We had a fabulous stay in Nick’s apartment. It is beautifully decorated and has everything that you need. The location was also perfect for exploring Cardiff. Nick was so helpful and responded to my messages really quickly. I’d thoroughly recommend a stay here and will definitely be back!

Francis’ place was just what we wanted! It was the perfect size for the two of us and it was the perfect spot too. Amazing communication as well!

One of the best places we have stayed. We went to a concert and although slightly outside of the city centre but about a 20 min walk back to the apartment. Felt super safe and the property is inside a gated area and nice quiet surroundings. Was nice to stay away from the busy area. The property was massive! Bigger than expected, the rooms all clean and fresh! Kitchen fully equipped and a nice dining area. Balcony was a bonus! The host was unbelievably fast at replying and was so flexible with our check in! We really appreciated it! Check was easy and we were provided with all the information. All of us wished we had booked another night! Definitely would stay here again! Thank you! 🤩
