Holiday rentals with a washing machine and dryer in Carentan

We had a great stay at Vincent’s place. He met us there and was very friendly, showed us around and provided good local recommendations. We really liked the galette restaurant opposite the Tapestry. Thanks Vincent! It really is the perfect location to explore Bayeux and the main centre and the Tapestry are 5 minutes walk away, although the Tapestry shuts in September for renovation work. We will come again and do some cycling next time, it really is that nice a place to stay.

Eleanor was very helpful and welcoming. She went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Logement propre et bien équipé, nous avons en plus pu bénéficier d’équipements pour notre enfant d’un an. Le logement a été rénové avec beaucoup de goût. Nous nous sommes sentis bien dans ce petit cocon pour quelques jours. Idéalement situé, nous avons pu profiter du centre ville de Granville a seulement dix minutes à pied. La gare de Granville est facilement accessible. Des commerces de proximité sont appréciables, super Burger proposé juste à côté du logement, Lidl accessible à quelques minutes, pharmacie et boulangerie sont également tout proche. Nous avons passé un séjour très agréable à Granville. Merci à Aurore.

Au-delà de la description et des photos, le logement surprend par des détails de grandes qualités, une décoration différentiante, un panorama sublime et un emplacement de choix pour découvrir la région. Difficile de quitter les lieux et l’envie de prolonger notre séjour. À refaire avec impatience !

The apt. was clean, and well equipped. Parking spot right in front is a bonus as is an outdoor seating area and washer/dryer in back. Walking distance to everything. An FYI is you will need to clean, including mopping or pay a $15e fee. Not a problem, just good to know.

As others have mentioned this is an excellent holiday flat and superb base from which to explore Normandy and the beautiful city of Caen. The flat is clean, comfortable and is very well equipped for self-catering though the nearby town center bars and restaurants may tempt you out at little more that you planned. Highlights include secure and convenient parking, excellent bathroom and shower, comfortable bed and the bonus of a lovely private garden to kick back while sampling the local calvados in the evening. As mentioned the flat is very central with a five minute walk into the center for fresh bread and croissants in the morning. Caen itself is full of surprises with beautiful churches and abbeys combined with a very laid back atmosphere. Though we did not meet Christine her ongoing communication was both discrete and charming. Book you wont regret it. 5 stars all round

A very special, beautiful and great place where we enjoyed every moment of our vacation. The flat has everything you need; it is perfectly stuffed and that’s done with a lot of charme, welcoming thoughts and a very personal and pleasant touch. There is lots to discover in and around Cancale; we enjoyed the view of the sea, the sound of seagulls and the Mont Saint Michel besides many more beautiful places like Dinard, St Malo and Rothéneuf. Hervé is a fantastic host and makes everything easy from check-in to check-out. We had very enjoyable and entertaining holidays and will certainly come back to Les Puits de Lumière.

Logement en tout point conforme à la description. Prestations haut de gamme. Environnement sécurisé. Terrasse avec vue imprenable sur le port. Excellente expérience, je recommande sans hesitation.

L'accueil fait par Magalie et son mari est à la hauteur de la qualité de la maison. Top ! La literie est de qualité. La présence des produits de premières nécessités est un plus. Ils sont arrangeants, à l'écoute et réactifs. Maison décorée avec charme, tout y est pour se sentir à l'aise. Idéalement emplacée, nous avons pu profiter de la région. Merci pour cet agréable séjour. Great location if you are driving and want to visit the Normandy beaches. The house is exceptional and the kitchen facilities are superb. Will definitely be back.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour. Je recommande vivement ce logement qui comporte tout ce dont on recherche, on se sent comme à la maison (tout est comme sur Les photos ). Ce qui est remarquable ç est la gentillesse, la disponibilité et le petit plus de Nathalie(la bienveillance ). Dernière chose,ce logement est très accessible pour les personnes ayant un handicap... A “cabin” in the woods, peaceful except for the Mourning Dove mourning down the chimney and the cows lowing across the fence, every possible amenity was provided including wine, beer and cidre in the fridge and a very well -stocked bar. Bed was wonderful for nine nights and that may be a travel record. Typical European shower, enough said, didn’t try the sauna but it looked good. Lots more little niceties. However, if you require active, powerful internet and cell coverage bring your Starlink.

We loved Chantal’s place. We were warmly welcomed by Chantal, who provided us with a tour of her place and helped us get settled. The place felt brand new, everything was pristinely clean. Interior is beautifully decorated and everything was perfect. Chantal went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed - with a yummy cider waiting chilled for us, and plenty of tea and coffee. There was also all the amenities available (toilet paper; towels; dishwashing detergent etc). Chantal has very cute puppies and she allowed my son to play with them. We would love to stay again and will - but next time we will stay longer. Highly recommend Chantal’s place.

Communication très reactive et sympathique de la part de Caroline qui est soucieuse de notre bien être. l'appartement comfortable et pratique est très bien équipé. il est dans une résidence bien tenue. On a adoré être à 7 minutes de marche de 2 très belles petites plages. Très pratique également pour visiter Saint Malo intra muros, Dinard, Dinan, cancale.... Nous recommandons vivement cet appartement pour son rapport qualité/prix/emplacement!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un appartement impeccable, rénové récemment, avec vue sur la mer. Pas besoin de voiture, tout est à distance à pied, on a profité de la digue et de la plage de sable fin. Merci à Christelle pour son accueil, ses consignes et ses conseils.

We spent one perfect week at Mathieu’s place and had an absolutely terrific experience! If you’re looking for an apartment in Bayeux, this is where you want to stay, hands down. The location is perfectly situated for walking to shops, markets, and cafes in the old town center and is also centrally-located for exploring the Normandy area. The apartment is inviting, peaceful, and clean with a comfortable bed. We especially enjoy livable locations where we can hear the church bells ring, and this was no exception at Mathieu’s place since the cathedral is just down the street (with a stunning view from the family room window). The bells add to the ambiance and experience, and fear not for they don’t ring through the night so your sleep isn’t interrupted. Only good things to say about this place!

Nous étions 3 adultes et avons passé 1 semaine dans le logement de Katy. Le quartier était calme, accessible et proche de quelques petites plages très agréables et de vues à couper le souffle (5mn à pied). Nous avions un véhicule de location pour nous rendre vers le centre de Saint Malo en une dizaine de minutes. Katy et son mari ont toujours été joignables et amicaux, que ce soit pour nous recommander des sorties et des activités ou pour répondre à nos interrogations au sujet de l'appartement. Le logement était très propre et accueillant : parfait pour des personnes qui vadrouillent et souhaitent se ressourcer
