Holiday rentals with lake access in Cariboo

This was the perfect location for geological fieldwork my group was conducting on the Cariboo Plateau in the surrounding lakes right outside our door! Very peaceful as well. Kitchen had everything we needed.

The only thing better than the home itself was the host, Leslie. She was so quick to respond and super friendly. The property is gorgeous and peaceful, but still felt warm and home-y. I absolutely loved my stay and would recommend to anyone!

Dannie's cabin was a great getaway. What a beautiful property overlooking Sheridan lake. Cabin had lots of character and was cozy. Lots of beds made it easy to accommodate all of us. Dannie was quick to respond and helpful when we had any questions.I would come back in a heartbeat!

Both the host and the property were lovely. All the amenities listed were there and in good shape, it was also really nice that they had the pedal boats for visitors use, and thoughtfully kept Firewood. Shannon was also very kind and helpful in mailing us an item that was left behind.

This cabin was the perfect spot for a weekend escape. Nestled right by the water, the views were absolutely breathtaking—even with the rainy weather, it felt peaceful and cozy. The cabin was super comfortable and well-equipped with both indoor and outdoor games, which kept us entertained the whole time. Whether we were playing board games inside or just relaxing and taking in the scenery, it was such a memorable experience. Highly recommend—rain or shine, this place is a gem!

We had a wonderful stay at Summers Cottage. It fit our family of 5 perfectly, loved the bunk beds . Lots of board games for all ages. It had nice travel size shampoo and conditioner, plus a blow dryer! That was a nice surprise. A bbq would have been nice but we made do without. We would definitely stay there again!

Clean, well appointed (had everything we needed and thoughtful extras), comfortable. Beautiful view. The owners greeted us upon arrival and had a lovely charcuterie for purchase. Loved meeting the doggies as well ♥️. Left rested, clean with full tummies!

my family and I had an amazing time. the peaceful setting of the property was great for relaxing where we enjoyed alot of board/card games together. there is lots of outings close by that you can enjoy with your family. and the restaurants we stopped at in 100 mile house were great. all within just a short drive from the house. I would love to stay again in later spring or summer to be able to enjoy the lake as it was frozen still during our stay. but I would 10 out of 10 recommend this place for large families or multi family gatherings. the beds were all very comfortable and made me feel like I was at home in my own bed. great stay!

This place was beautiful and spotless and like new. It was peaceful. Lake access and dock were awesome. Nice to have use of kayaks. Views of the lake from inside were lovely. It was very nicely set up and stocked. Beds were comfortable. We would recommend and stay again.

For anyone wanting a magical peaceful relaxing retreat without tv or distractions this is the place. Mary was an amazing host very friendly and accommodating. I was a little hesitant to stay in a cabin in the woods but having Mary next door I felt very safe. Her dogs are super friendly and we did not even notice they were there as they were super quiet, we enjoyed the pets we got in when we could. The outdoor shower was amazing I have never had a better shower ever ; the view of the lake was the most neatest experience. The first night we got there we saw the fire flies that was a once in a life time experience. Mary sharing her little cabin with others is a little peace of paradise. If you stay there please respect her home and enjoy all the birds and solitude you wont regret it.

What a wonderful little gem. The patio was the perfect morning view, with a fenced deck so no worrying about my dogs wandering off. Everything was clean and comfy! We love cooking and had all the things we needed. Found hidden places like the chasim and near by waterfall (both driving distance) we were early in the year the lake was calm and peaceful. The fireplace inside was a bonus for our rainy day after arrival. My family highly recommends.

Our stay at Andrea’s cottage on Chimney Lake was incredible - we were sad we had only booked one night as we were passing through! We would love to visit again! Not only was the cottage and the property absolutely beautiful, but Andrea as a host was extremely kind and welcoming and even gave us tips to cut down our trip back to the highway the next morning! I couldn’t recommend a stay here enough!

There were 3 generations who came to the cottage, including our 4 and 5-year-old grandchildren. They had a blast - playing in the big yard, and swimming off the dock. Their parents and our other daughter enjoyed the kayaks and playing with the kids. Joanne, our host, gave us helpful directions on where to fish. As a result, the grandchildren got to catch some nice kokanee - a great first-time fishing experience. It was the 4-year-olds birthday; he received a fishing rod which brought in a shiny kokanee. He was thrilled! We loved the big deck, the comfortable chairs, the gazebo over the porch table. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. The kitchen was well-appointed and demonstrated that a lot of thought went into creating a good experience. There were lots of games, movies, books, and lovely linens and towels. We'll be back!

Awesome place for a family fishing trip! Lots of space for a large family, and the downstairs is an awesome area to hangout when the weather isn’t cooperating. The lake was beautiful and it’s certainly a place we want to visit again. I very much recommend this vacation rental.

Perfect place for a family getaway to the lake! Lots of room and places for re-creating. Comfortable bedrooms, two full living areas and an expansive kitchen meant staying inside on rainy/smoky days was not difficult. Multiple deck/dock lounging areas allow lots of people to enjoy outdoor spaces. Our host was quick and effecting with communications and generous with ideas to enhance our stay. Would love to come back! This is the perfect kind of Airbnb ... not one that's depersonalized but, rather, full of a lived-in feeling. Highly, highly recommend!
