A beautiful log cabin set at the foot of the Mourne mountains, perfect for couples looking to escape all the hustle and bustle. Your accommodation has that open plan alpine feel with a wood burning stove. (Fuel not supplied, please note this is a wood burning stove only). There is also oil fired central heating. Fully fitted kitchen and in very close proximity to Newcastle's town center. Also on the doorstep of Donard Park and Tollymore forest Park, world famous for the "Game of Thrones".

Ash Trees Cottage is a hidden gem, overlooking the Slieve Croob Mountains. Located up a private family lane of 1/2 mile, you can enjoy all the scenary in a quiet tranquill private space, take in the beautiful views whilst relaxing in your own private Palms Spa Hot Tub. This includes a lovely private seating area and picnic table and a Fire Pit at your convinience. At night time, the area is lit up with beautiful cluster lighting to enhance the experience. Grove Fort Self Catering Farmhouse.

Our place is aTourist Board accredited farmhouse, close to the Dromara Hills, Slieve Croob Scenic Loop, Newcastle, Castlewellan Forest Park, Mourne Mountains, Hillsborough. The accommodation is 2 stories, 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom upstairs (2 double and a twin bedroom). Downstairs is kitchen/ living room, separate sitting room and toilet/ shower room. Spacious yard is great for parking. We welcome couples, business travellers, families, pets, golfers, film crews, walkers and cyclists

A home away from home, in the grounds of our family holiday home, the house is just 300m away from the entrance of Tollymore Forest Park. Unwind in the hot tub soaking in the dramatic view of the Mourne Mountains. Inside, relax in front of a cosy wood burning stove. Lively Newcastle town, with its many shops, cafes, bars and restaurants is less than 5 minutes drive away. Other attractions close by are Murlough Beach, Castlewellan forest Park & many walking, hiking & cycling trails.
