A twist on the more conventional ‘pod’, the cabin features a curved wood interior entered from an arched doorway in front of which is situated a perfectly appointed king sized bed with amazing views of the Trottenish Ridge and the croft (farmland) that surrounds the property. It benefits from underfloor heating. It has an unique position with an uninterrupted view of the sea and surrounding landscape. It takes its name from the two Heron's that nest on the island opposite the pod.

It is ideal for 2,If there are 4 adults you may feel it rather small. Bedding and towels are provided. Heating, TV and WiFi all add to a warm comfortable stay.

The house is in the small village of Dalmore, next to Carloway on the west side of lewis. The house is minutes away from the beautiful Dalmore beach. Doune Braes Hotel and restaurant is near by and Uig Sands Resturant is a 40 minute drive away but highly recommended. Places of interest such as Gearrannan Blackhouses and The Broch are a short drive. The Callanish Stones are a 20 minute drive away and Stornoway is a 35 minute drive. As pets are welcome we have a ***2 dog limit***
