Holiday rentals with outdoor seating in Carova Beach, Currituck County

My family came together for a 3-day stay at Nomad Dunes. It was everyone's 1st time to the OBX. There's 16 of us ranging in age from 9-74! There are 3 levels to this home with sleeping areas on all levels which was great for us. I think we used every entertaining and relaxing spot in this house!! You can see the ocean from the top floor and it truly is easy enough to walk to the beach or hop in the car and drive back and forth. Having the pool was perfect for our family. It is about 5ft deep at most so all the kids could access the pool without worry. And the hot tub was VERY popular with our group! Hardly anyone picked up a phone or devise other than to take photos or videos and we watched one movie. The drive on the beach to get to the home was a LOT more than we expected!! Videos do not do this justice. It's long, and bumpy, and feels out of control at times. SHOP beforehand!! Beds and furnishings are comfy and pretty. I suggest mentioning if you plan to use the bunks and sofa bed.

This was our second year staying at the Downwinder and once again it was extremely enjoyable! The oceanfront views from the deck and big windows just can't be beat. This house has a great open concept living with unobstructed views of the ocean from the entire main living space and master bedroom. The house is modern and updated, inside and out. We love the deck walkway right from the house, over the dunes and right down to the beach. The shower and foot rinsing faucet at the end of the walkway is super convenient. Absolutely perfect for our family of four! Falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves is pure serenity. Do yourself a favor and book this home for your next vacation...you won't regret it!

This was our second visit and it did not disappoint. This home has everything you will need for a wonderful vacation-fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, wood for the firepit... we did not want for anything. We spent lots of time on the porch and it's a quick drive to the beach. I look forward to another visit!

Audrey’s quilted corners by the bay was perfect for a peaceful, relaxation vacation with my sister. We enjoyed being close to the quiet, peaceful beachfront and the bike/walking path into the state park. Highly recommend for a relaxing virginia beach experience. When we experienced issues with bugs entering the room (which is a very normal occurrence in the southern climate especially in the rain), Audrey quickly contacted us and eased our minds by spraying for bugs inside the room and outside the house. Audrey did everything she could to help. Be aware of the possibility of bugs given the nature of the climate and more wooded, residential area. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect for our long weekend stay in the outer banks. The place was private but close to everything, and the property is absolutely beautiful. Loved taking advantage of the bikes available to use. The suite was very clean and exactly as shown in photos.

Great House! Easy Check-in, nice neighborhood, close drive to the beach access, and all the amenities you’ll need. I would recommend this stay.

These people are wonderful people me and my friend had an amazing time staying at there place! The place is exactly like what you see in the pictures. You will have there downstairs room to there house they will be staying in while you are there. It’s very nice that you have a walkway with access to the backyard gate which is where you’ll find your sliding glass door to your room and bathroom. You also have access to the beach bikes and the canoe which is really nice. Me and my friend brought our Blackstone down and cooked with Brad aka Sammy Hagar , lots of cool stories were shared. I had an amazing stay and I would definitely go back in the future. These people are wonderful host and the have all the suggestions of what to do , where to go

Cozy house full of old charm just steps away from the beach. All of the picture on the wall were beautiful and told a story about the house and the area. Everything was clean and neat. We cooked dinner for the majority of our stay, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Bathrooms were very clean as well. We would definitely stay here again when we visit in the future!

We had an amazing stay! The space was clean, stylish, and spacious—perfect for a couple’s getaway. Crystal and Jayson were outstanding hosts: incredibly responsive, friendly, and always willing to help. I highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone visiting Kill Devil Hills! 🦀

The house was very pretty and comfortable. It's close to a lot of restaurants and things to do. Katie is great and made checking in and out a breeze.

Heather and Tom were wonderful hosts and even more wonderful people. From start to finish, they made sure we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Casa de la Luz is truly a gem: immaculately clean, thoughtfully decorated, and full of charm. The neighborhood is peaceful and relaxing, with the beach just a short walk away. When I return to OBX, checking Heather and Tom’s availability will be my first priority.

Nataly’s place was awesome! We’ve already discussed staying here again. It was close enough to the beach to walk, but far enough away that we could feel secluded & “safe” & away from the hustle & bustle.

Everything was accurately described and very clean. We enjoyed our stay!

We (and our dogs) had a lovely stay at Erin’s! The views were incredible, the location was so convenient for things to do close by, and the place was stunning. We will definitely be back!!

Had a great stay at Mark's place! He was friendly and helpful, and the house was perfect for our beach weekend. Mark offered beach chairs, boards, and more that made the trip easy. Quick bike ride or drive to the beach!

spent a few days at Artim's place and couldn't have asked for a better stay. everything was clean and ready for use and had good suggestions for things to do around the area. would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here as a family with small children. There were only a couple other people at the condominium so the pool was always available and parking was easy. I liked how you get to park underneath the condos so your car stays shaded. The lock code to the stairwell and elevator made us feel secure. There were plenty of nice beach items to use in the storage including wagon, umbrella, and chairs. Each room had plenty of beach towels and bath towels. The walk to the beach was minimal. The only cons were loud vehicles since you are close to the road and one ceiling fan not working in a bedroom but that didn’t bother us! Overall it is a great place and exceeded our expectations!

Where to even start?! Meredith was awesome to rent from. The pictures were super accurate to the appearance of the rental. The condo was super clean and she thought of everything. We brought our three kids to the OBX and they never once said they were bored with everything she included in her place. The Sound is literally out your back door and has unmatched sunsets. The beach is less that 3 min drive away and she includes a parking pass that allows you to park super close to the access points. The town of Duck is right up the road and is a very walkable town that offers fun local shops and great dining options. Overall it was a great trip and we would highly recommend this condo to anyone.

The location could not be beat! We loved walking to Scarborough Faire and biking to restaurants or the beach. House was clean and stocked well. We would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely stay at Crystal’s while in town for a graduation. Crystal was proactive with directions, recommendations, and instructions, and she responded quickly to questions. The place was nicely decorated, and well-stocked with kitchen gadgets, beach chairs, games, and other necessities. This is a nice place for a getaway.

This was our second time staying at one of Rebecca and Sean’s VA Beach condos — and the experience did not disappoint! This is just a perfect location, at the very end of the Boardwalk, with a private grassy lawn and outdoor seating just for the condo residents. Lots of restaurants in the surrounding blocks. Our favorite thing is the view — you look right out onto the ocean from the patio, and you can see the beach and the sunrise from the comfortable bed each morning. We spent unhurried hours sitting on the patio in the evenings enjoying the sound of lapping waves and the night sky. This cozy studio was just right for the two of us. Highly recommend. I’ve no doubt we’ll stay there again in the future!

We enjoyed staying at Kelly's place in VB. Its an ideal location for anyone who wants to stay right at the boardwalk. We witnessed amazing sunrises and moonrises. The ocean was right in front of us and from the 6th floor, the view was expansive. A lot of restaurants were also nearby. Kelly was always very communicative, polite and professional. The apartment was clean with the kitchen well stocked with utensils The bedrooms were of a pretty large size. And parking was on the premises. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and holiday for us. We strongly recommend Kelly's place.

This is our 3rd time staying here! Has a beautiful view, great access to the beach and a nice pool, which is so great to break up the day. We traveled with two adults and two children perfect amount of space. Little dated inside but has everything you need. We come for the location, because it’s so good! As other reviews have said there is a rental above you. We had one night of very late night noise but other than that it was a wonderful stay, we will be coming back!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautifully updated and nicely appointed condo on Roanoke Island. The views of the Pamlico Sound were absolutely stunning—especially at sunrise with a cup of coffee in hand. The location was perfect, just a short drive to great restaurants and the Lost Colony outdoor show. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked with all the basics we needed for cooking. We also loved the spacious dining and living area—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. Highly recommend!
