Air conditioning, TV, equipped kitchen, etc. The surroundings could not be better, it is located in the center of the old town (Ciutat Vella), 2 minutes from La Rambla, Plaza Real and 10 Plaza Catalunya.

The flat was spotless and the view from our room quaint and old world. Sharing a bathroom was interesting, but we managed. There are a lot of stairs to climb, so be prepared for that. But even the stair well had tons of character. We’ve got a great selfie in them- at the bottom it’s like a cave, then they turn red and you’re almost there.

Absolutely fantastic! Our stay at hotel Monegal was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we walked in, the staff's genuine warmth and incredible helpfulness made us feel right at home. Their friendly service truly sets this hotel apart. The location couldn't have been better, just round the corner from la Rambla. And as for the room, it was a sanctuary of cleanliness and comfort. It provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Highly recommended.

The place was in a great location. The balcony had a lovely view. The host was very thoughtful. It is a very old building and the apartment has its quirks. It is on the third floor and there is no elevator. The floors are uneven, paint is chipped, the bathrooms have unique shapes and clever use of space. If you are looking for pristine, modern, flat--this is not the place for you. If you're open to old European, rustic and unique, with thoughtful hosts, in a good location, this is a great choice.

I stayed for 3 days in Fede's house. The room is spacious and good. I saw some comments about noise on the street, which in fact exists, but it did not bother me at all (around 10-11 p.m. in general it is non-existent) The bathroom is quite narrow, but easily usable. It is very well located, close to everything in the Gothic Quarter, and it is easy to go to more distant locations. Fede is a very good person and always provided support when necessary
