Fellbeck, Cartmel *Countryside Views*

TraceyRating, 5 stars5 months ago
A great place to stay, within walking distance of Cartmel and within easy access to the South Lakes. The property was decorated to a high standard, with stylish and practical fixtures and fittings. It was very well appointed and everything felt clean and new. The views from the kitchen and lounge area were gorgeous. Even though the property was warm throughout, having the log burner was lovely to snug up with during the winter evenings. Communication beforehand was great and the instructions were clear and concise. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again when in Cartmel. Thank you for everything.

A lovely and cosy flat!! They even bought us a bottle of procesco and chocolate as a welcome gift! The only downside is the lack of parking, which seems to be a common issue in Cartmel.

Newly refurbished apartment with sea view

The apartment was very clean. It's in a very nice and quiet area, with a lovely view of the promenade onto the water Morecambe Bay. It was a great area for us to easily drive to Lake Windermere. Ben & Sara were good hosts, responsive on the app.

Spacious, luxury home nr/Cartmel & Lake Windermere

Absolutely loved our stay at Pheasant Lodge! The place is immaculate, beautifully designed and the gardens are just perfect. My kids loved the vast array of toys and we loved how spacious yet cosy the property fell. Hannah is friendly , always available and replies to messages straight away. All absolutely perfect, our only regret is not having booked it for a bit longer. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely farmhouse. The place was very clean, peaceful, and well maintained, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The host was friendly and welcoming, and the farm visit was a great experience, especially for those who enjoy nature. Definitely worth the money — we truly enjoyed the calm surroundings and the overall hospitality. Highly recommended!

The Old Bakery, Flookburgh, Grange over Sands

Lynne's place was absolutely fabulous! A small but perfectly fitted out dwelling. Everything you would need for a short stay (a week easily)was provided. The bunk beds were very comfortable and we both slept very well. Lynne was a very accomodating and friendly host too and went above and beyond to make us welcome. The location is splendid too. Highly reccomended.

Wonderful Sea Views from a Stylish 2 Bedroom Home

JessRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a very restful and enjoyable stay at 32 Oversands Drive. Excellent communications with the owners throughout. Such a spacious, well-equipped and beautiful home. Felt relaxed the moment we stepped inside. The well-stocked garden, full of late summer flowers, provided a perfect spot for sitting. Great views across Morecambe Bay to the hills on the other side; you can see the weather coming and going across the great sweep of sky. Grange over Sands such a friendly place. Lovely walks along the promenade overlooking the saltmarsh and estuary, beautiful old station, plenty of independent shops. Nearby Cartmel well worth a visit. We had booked Predator Experience for our son's 21st birthday, and had a great time there, getting to know the wolves! It's also not too long a drive to the Lakes: we climbed Harter Fell and Loughrigg, visiting Coniston and Ullswater as well. A perfect holiday, made really special by having such a comfortable, spacious and welcoming place to stay. Thank you.

Cosy cottage stay in Cartmel

RosalindRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The minute we walked into this converted old granary it had so much charm, warmth and character that we felt at home instantly. The welcome pack was greatly appreciated, especially the famous sticky toffee pudding! Howbarrow Cottage is a beautifully presented cottage, 20 minutes walk to the lovely village of Cartmel with shops, pubs and restaurants and a racecourse. The cottage is surrounded by the most stunning scenery. It has all modern fixtures and fittings whilst still retaining lots of old features and cosy cottage charm! It was spotlessly clean, very comfortable bed! The cottage was a perfect base for a walking holiday in the lakes. The cottage was very well equipped and it had everything to make our stay home from home. I cannot praise our Hosts enough Angela & Martin who were extremely a delight and pleasure to meet. Oscars nearby was a great place for a drink and a meal in the evening. I would highly recommend this cottage. We had a wonderful weekend break! Thank you.
