Holiday houses in Carù

Great host - lots of valuable tips and recommendations, even a nice local gift! The house has been recently renovated very tastefully, had all we needed. Area has great views, is very quiet and peaceful! Weekend there is a restaurant 5min walk distance which had great food, nice atmosphere. other places are further and reachable by car. all in all - we would return for a nice relaxing stay!

Alessandro's accommodation is great for those who want to get away from the chaos of the city, it is in a quiet location and surrounded by greenery but still close to a lot of areas of interest such as Forte dei Marmi (20min), Marina di Carrara (10min) and so on... it is a very strategic place, especially if you have pets with you. Our little dachshund, Focaccia, was able to run freely in the huge garden in front of the accommodation - a place where my partner and I decided to have dinner every evening while enjoying the beautiful sunset. 🌇 The accommodation is beautiful, new and equipped with a really super-stocked kitchen (we could even make pizza!). We were also very pleased with the presence of an air conditioner. We will definitely be back, we highly recommend it 🫶🏼 NB Alessandro has always been super helpful in answering all my questions and giving me very valuable advice on what to see/where to eat, etc. Thank you Alessandro for your infinite patience?

Francesca and her kind family have created a once-in-a-lifetime, soul-grounding experience in this beautifully restored 14th-century hillside retreat in Portovenere. We loved every minute of our six-night stay. From the mind-blowing views and steep, invigorating hikes to romantic evenings sipping homemade, earthy concoctions thoughtfully left for us—it was pure magic. We were welcomed with fragrant bundles of fresh lemons, rosemary, sage, and thyme, a gesture that set the tone for the care and warmth we felt throughout. The bed was incredibly comfortable, making our rest as memorable as our adventures. We especially loved our daily rocky hike down to the charming village, and one day we even rented a dinghy to explore the surrounding islands—an unforgettable way to soak in the coastal beauty. This place is beyond gorgeous—truly a slice of heaven.

Cristian was an immaculate host and this space was beyond impressive. Pictures truly didn’t do the space justice and we can’t thank him enough for his hospitality, responsiveness when arriving and finding our way around, and general needs. Would absolutely love to be back!

Tatiana is an amazing host, welcoming, nice, friendly, generous. Her place is very special in the middle of the wood, very isolated and quiet, connected to nature, wonderful views. It was restored with a lot of love and tension, and it’s well equipped. Our children loved the animals (dogs, cats, chickens, horse) and the hemlocks between the trees. We enjoyed it a lot. Don’t miss the natural pool in the river just 15 minutes away. Also the special cities of Emilia Romana are wonderful and not so far away.

We were able to enjoy this wonderful place for two weeks. During our first ride up, we were already enchanted by the beauty of the surroundings. Lara's house is on an open plateau surrounded by trees. It is a beautiful house, equipped with every comfort. It is clean and very well maintained. The view from the garden and your balcony is directed at Tassilico. A village you can walk to. Verni is a very charming village that you can walk to from the house. And you can have a delicious homemade dinner and/or lunch at Lara's, just let her know. Your table is set in a nice square and you enjoy, excellent! Feels like home. Lara is a very friendly woman and is always there for you. Has very nice tips to discover in the area. And there are several hiking routes to discover from the house. Via komoot we have discovered routes, in several lengths. We absolutely recommend Lara's house, if we could give a 6!!

Thank you Giorgio and Andrea for our 2 1/2 weeks in your wonderful house. What a fantastic location in beautiful Lunigiana and a what a comfortable, well equipped house. We have been using AirB&B for years and in all honesty this is one of, if not the best stay we have ever had. The beds are really comfortable too!

Our stay at Villa Herb and Stone far exceeded my expectations. I brought a group of 10 women, and from the moment we arrived—actually, even before—we were treated with such genuine care and attention. I’ve never had an Airbnb experience quite like this. The villa was immaculate, the views absolutely breathtaking. We enjoyed incredible meals on the property prepared by Federica and Jessica—each one more exquisite than the last—and relaxing massages. Every detail was thoughtful, every request met with warmth and generosity. Nothing was too much. Each of us felt deeply cared for, pampered, and nurtured in a way that’s hard to describe. I can’t recommend this magical village and extraordinary villa enough.
