Wir waren zu dritt (2 Erwachsene, 1 Jugendlicher) für 10 Tage zu Gast bei Joana. Die Unterkunft liegt traumhaft ruhig und friedlich abseits von allem Trubel, noch schöner, als es die Bilder erahnen ließen. Toll ist, dass unser Sohn sein eigenes Reich bewohnen konnte- etwas abseits von unserem Appartment. Joana ist eine wundervolle Gastgeberin, die uns mit praktischen und vor allem schönsten Ausflugs-Tipps und Restaurants etc. versorgte und jederzeit ansprechbar war. Wir haben einen Mix aus Ausflügen in verschiedene Städte (Lissabon, Setubal u.a. und Strandtagen gemacht und waren auch mal nur am Pool des Hauses. Wir danken Joana von Herzen (und ihrer Fsmilie) für die schöne Zeit und würden jederzeit wiederkommen, wenn es nicht so weit entfernt wäre….!

The pool and pool area is completely private which we loved. We had sole use of the pool and made the most of it! Maria Louisa was always on hand if you needed anything but respected our privacy which was so lovely. You can walk down the hill to the train station which goes one stop to Sintra old town or to Lisbon in the other direction. Trains are cheap. It’s a bit of a hill back up to the house from the station or the supermarket which wasn’t a problem for us but worth being aware. The house has a coffee machine and everything you need, although you may wish to bring pool towels. The pool area is set in a beautifully manicured garden and we spend lots of time here as a family. Thank you so much for letting us stay Maria Louisa, we had a lovely time!!

Our stay in Alfonso’s apartment was very nice! The location is very close to the airport and local metro so it was very convenient. There are some great restaurants and local shops that made our experience very interesting as we were exploring different areas of Lisbon. The Street is a bit grungy and noisy as it’s a two way major street. But once we got to know the area better it felt safe and was eclectic. We didn’t realise it was a four floor walk up so it was tough as we did not plan our bags accordingly. But otherwise it’s a comfortable sweet little room with nice big bathroom:) Thanks Alfonso for your prompt responses to the problems we had!

The apartment had everything we needed, and within a five-minute drive we enjoyed beachside cafe and pizza place, along with a small local grocery store. The pool was lovely to return to, after day visits to Ericeira and Sintra. Johanna and Ronny were excellent hosts. Would highly recommend!

Luis è un host molto presente e amichevole, la casetta è in un'area tranquilla e l'abbiamo trovata pulita e con tutto il necessario, Luis ci ha generosamente portato di persona degli asciugamani aggiuntivi per il nostro alloggio prolungato. l'abitazione è a 3 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggetta di Azenhas do Mar, una chicca, bellissima, e fornita di bar e ristorante sul mare, incantevole.

Eduardo’s home is wonderful ! Such a peaceful place for you to get away and connect with nature. The drive to the mountain was a bit confusing but it’s because we drove at night 😅 Eduardo & his wife are very friendly and welcoming! I would stay here again:)

Comunicação com anfitrião ótima e localização muito boa. Única coisa que pode incomodar é o barulho dos hóspedes no corredor, mas tirando isso tudo bem.

We had a fantastic stay, and can't recommend this place enough! Charles, Luci and their lovely family were so welcoming, and they went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The apartment is really cozy, clean, quiet and feels like a perfect getaway from the city. We also loved the village, and enjoyed walking around the area, whether to the stunning nearby beach or the local restaurants. We didn't have a car and were able to get around no problem thanks to the bus stop around the corner. This is easily one of the best airbnb's we've stayed at, and if we ever come back to the region we'll surely be staying here again. Thank you Charles and Luci!

We stayed for one night and really appreciated the convenient location — very close to the airport and well connected to the metro, making it easy to explore the city. We were also able to drop off our luggage early, which was very helpful. Overall, we had a great stay!

This Airbnb is really cute ☺️ exactly as shown in the pictures. The host was warm and accommodating, which made the stay even better. I truly loved my time here. Everything is nearby, and transportation from the location is super convenient.

we had a wonderful time at Alva's. she was such a welcoming and friendly host and gave us many recommendations of things to do and delicious restaurants. the place is clean quiet and well appointed. There are easy walks to town and amazing beaches. We had no need for a car during our stay, and caught an easy Uber / Bolt from the airport in Lisbon. We would love to return sooner than later. Look forward to our next trip there!

Het was een super tijd bij maria. Ontzettend schoon en een top locatie!

We enjoyed staying with Ana. Comfortable beds, couch and a sparkling clean bathroom. It was close to a few cafes for coffee, sandwiches and pastry. It was about a 20 minute walk to the waterfront restaurants & Aquarium - which was very enjoyable. There are exterior stairs and also stairs up to our room - which were no problem for us. Ana even helped carry our luggage to our room. It was a great place to stay. It was really good to meet Ana and she was really helpful explaining the neighborhood.

Ótimo apartamento térreo, amplo e bem localizado. Restaurante e supermercado próximos, bem como o transporte público (ônibus e metrô). Recomendo vivamente.

We hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf in Sintra. Een prachtige plek, weg van de drukte met een heerlijke tuin om te ontbijten, te borrelen en voor de kinderen om te spelen. Het appartement is perfect, met twee aparte kamers (voor de kinderen een zeer comfortabele 2 persoons slaapbank). En een keuken met alles wat je nodig hebt. We boekten last minute en Guy en Soraia stonden direct voor ons klaar om ons verblijf zo comfortabel mogelijk te maken. Kortom, deze plek is echt een aanrader als je Sintra bezoekt.

This is truly a magical peaceful place. I received such a warm welcome from Guy in person. The house is beautiful and spacious. My flat was bigger than expected. Everything was top quality from the furniture, modern new looking kitchen and very spacious bathroom. The common room has a coffee machine with unlimited fresh coffee and treats! The garden is well kept with thick green grass, flowers and fruit trees. The bus stop is outside the gate with buses to both Sintra and Cascais. Highly recommended!

Johanna was in touch well in advance to make sure I could find her place and had no issues. It is a very welcoming place to stay. Ideal for women travelling alone as it's very safe. I'd recommend her place for anyone wanting to enjoy the beaches around Ericeira.

Excelente acomodação em Sintra. Os espaços são exatamente como nas fotos. É uma casa grande e muito bem decorada, o apartamento onde fiquei é muito bonito e tem tudo para uma estadia confortável. Há uma máquina de café na sala para os hóspedes e muita área verde em volta da casa. A comunicação com o anfitrião foi fácil. Fui recebida pela co-anfitriã Soraia, que foi muito atenciosa. Apesar de não ficar no centro da cidade, a locomoção é fácil por ônibus ou Uber. Certamente me hospedarei lá novamente se um dia retornar a Sintra.
