Built in 1880 the stables fronted with an open courtyard is where guests mounted their horses to enter the marshy Lake Erie countryside hunting for ducks and pheasant. The dutch doors of the stable rooms are still in place to allow you to enjoy the country air! Enjoy the lodge kitchen ( coffee makers, fridge, microwave), sitting room (tvs), and vintage bikes to cruise around the property at your leisure.

The Montgomery has an outdoor community courtyard and literally steps away from a variety of restaurants, shopping, activities, and culture.

We are located in a countryside setting yet close enough to Put-in-Bay and Kelleys Island, Cedar Point and all the other attractions that Lake Erie Shores & Islands has to offer.
