Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Castel di Sangro

The accommodation was perfect, great location, close to walks, activities, historic sites and shops. There is a lakeside bar a short walk away. Views from the house looking out to Lake Scanno and the mountains are spectacular! Great hosts, very responsive. Nothing to complain about. Was very nice and clean. It‘s a huge apartment with 3 floors. No AC, but that‘s also stated in the details of the apartment. Just wanted to share that in case someone didn‘t read the details of the apartment. Ermanno was very responsive and kind. I can recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Celano.

Our stay at Ellen and Gustav’s place will forever stay in our hearts. It was a transformative vacation, so much so that we now dream of creating something similar ourselves, someday, somewhere. The atmosphere, the energy, the style, the history, and the love that have been poured into this place are perfectly blended, making everything feel natural and special. Of course, there are small things that could be improved, but they are nothing compared to the immense sense of peace and well-being that the house and its surroundings provide. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every view, the silence, the beauty of the night atmosphere, everything spoke to us deeply. A heartfelt thank you also to Bice, the co-host, who welcomed us warmly and was always available and kind. We truly carry this place in our hearts and minds. A homely home in a beautiful place. We were greeted by Giuseppe's parents who showed us where to park and walked us to the home. We were welcomed with home baked goodies and pasta sauce. Giuseppe was always available to answer questions and sent over a really useful Google map woth places to go pins and food place pins. This is really helpful in such a remote place.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Chiara's, in lovely Capestrano, for two weeks in Abruzzo. It looked just like her photos, with ample space on two floors to spread out. The kitchen had the amenities we needed to prepare tasty meals with incredibly fresh local produce and dairy items. The small refrigerator was helpful to store our perishable culinary treasures. And wine! Tucked at the top of a staircase off of the small road, it was very quiet and very close to the main piazza. Whenever we needed groceries, a pharmacia, delicious morning espresso with cornetto, or a nightcap with some of the regions incredible wines, we were only a 5 minute walk away. Chiara was always quick to respond to any questions and very helpful with suggestions of what to do and see in the area. So many beautiful, charming mountaintop villages to explore! We felt very safe staying here and leaving for the entire day, to marvel at this most extraordinary, naturally stunning area of Italy.

Beautiful Frattura, and Adamo is a special host, always very helpful. The house is tidy and clean. The surroundings are beautiful.

Leila was very helpful and we enjoyed staying at her place. We had wet weather so the fireplace was wonderful for drying out and staying warm! The accommodation worked well for our family of two adults and one child; there was a bunk bed so it would also work for a larger family. Pesscaseroli was a convenient base for exploring the area. A great deal in a very good location! Really clean, too. Not easy to park if you have a car, beware, but otherwise a super clean, centrally located, small but cozy accommodation. Grazie, Livia.

We were looking for a place to relax, and we found it! Cozy house, tastefully furnished, very well maintained and clean, surrounded by nature and despite this with every comfort such as TV, WiFi, and above all a fabulous fireplace in front of which we spent relaxing evenings. The owner Maria Cristina has shown a unique availability, and even the neighborhood that has been activated to get us some firewood (thank you Mr. Bruno). Absolutely recommended, hoping, however, that next time we will find a place again!

Quiet, large and very well located accommodation for visiting Abruzzo and hiking there. Domenico is a very attentive host and attentive to ensure that the stay goes as smoothly as possible. It's a great place. Plus: the large TV.

We have been at Eugenio's place three times over the past 2 years. It has always been a great experience! Eugenio is the perfect host: friendly, proactive and responsive. The flat is very comfortable and functional, it is well located within waking distance from groceries, (the best) bakery in the area, coffee shops and the historical centre of the small town. It is easy to reach by car from the highway and you can park for free just along the street. It is well equipped, with air con system for the hot months and a good heating system for the winter. Beautiful view from the large windows (perfectly tight and isolated). I can only warmly recommend a staying at Eugenio's place!

Short stay in a beautiful and peaceful village in Abruzzo. The house contains everything you need and the garden with pool is very well laid out. The owners are lovely people who also own a restaurant in the center, which we recommend you try.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. It looks even better than in the photos! Super peaceful & communication with the hosts was a deem. A little trouble with electricity but hey - it‘s rural Italy :) would definitely book again!

Nice accommodation with all necessary facilities, a big garden and a magnificent pool. Located in a quiet area with superb views on the surrounding mountains. We truly enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it.

Franco was a very kind and friendly host. He met us for all our needs. Very helpful. The apartment was conveniently located for shopping, sightseeing and easy to reach with luggage.

The house is beautiful and only a few minutes drive from Cassino. It is calm and the garden is the perfect place to chill. We had a lovely stay !

Ornella was a wonderful host, and we loved staying here! The house is about a 35min walk to the top of Pesche, and a 5min drive to Isernia. We have recommended this place to all of our family that will soon visit. Only downfalls of the property: A little cold in the house, but there were plenty of blankets. Also, the water was not very hot, which made showering a bit uncomfortable. All in all, we would definitely stay here again. It’s cozy and quiet, and inconveniently located to everything we wanted to see.

Very nice house with great pool. The hosts are very friendly and can give good advices for the area. The cave of falvaterra is amazing and many other places can be visited from there.

We used Serena's place in a particular context. Indeed, it was a support point for our team that was participating in an international sporting event.
