A casa é perfeita, muito bonita, estava tudo impecável, tem vários utensílios domésticos, a cama é confortável, a piscina excelente, tem uma cozinha do lado de fora que faz toda diferença, foram dias maravilhosos, o sr. Arcilio e a Daniela são pessoas incríveis, a minha família se sentiu em casa, melhor casa que já ficamos, voltaremos com certeza.

On our trip to Portugal, the Douro Valley was the highlight of the trip from the storybook views to the spread of freshly picked cherries, homemade preserves and wine awaiting our arrival to the cleanliness and comforts of a beautiful home perched high up on the vineyard terraced hills. The game room was an incredible surprise - there are seven eighties arcade games along with a ping pong table, a foosball table and an infinity game with over 150 board games built into the table. The hospitality was second to none. Gabrella, the property manager, was one step ahead of us ensuring that we had everything we needed to make our stays one of the most memorable. Sephi, the owner, is one of the most generous people we have ever met. His passion for region and willingness to offer his time to you is amazing. We spent one morning touring his winery, learning the old way of making wine and enjoying the fruits of his labor – an extraordinary experience not a just another Air BnB.

5 ⭐️ O alojamento correspondeu e superou as expectativas! Vamos voltar, de certeza! O Sr. José Carlos é muito atencioso e sempre disposto a resolver ou esclarecer qualquer dúvida. Espaço lindo, limpo, calmo e sossegado. Desde a casa, ao jardim, à piscina e à vista desafogada magnífica, tudo maravilhoso. Recomendo a 500%. Ideal para férias em família, com paz e sossego. Espetacular.

This place was amazing, way bigger than it looks in the photos, with everything we needed and incredible views. The host was super helpful and easy to communicate with. Would definitely recommend and stay again if I get the chance!

A estadia correu incrivelmente bem. Estavamos com expectativas elevadas, mas conseguiu superar as mesmas. A casa está muito bem localizada e a decoração é maravilhosa! Por mim, o João e a Debora são impressionantes como anfitriões, não deixaram nada ao acaso e sempre disponíveis para ajudar. A repetir com toda a certeza!

The most fantastic stay, we will definitely be back! The location and accommodation was even better than the photos and the host and staff were so friendly and approachable. The views from the entire place were fantastic. A very private and peaceful stay, and the breakfast baskets were very generous, full of fresh fruit, bread etc. We did a wine tasting on the vineyard and it was so reasonably priced and great wine. There was also a lovely peacock and cat that roamed the vineyard and came to say hello on occasion. Both pools were fantastic! Thank you for a really memorable holiday 🥰.

Abilio und Gina haben uns sehr herzlich in Empfang genommen obwohl wir spät abends ankamen. Das Haus ist mit viel Liebe eingerichtet, sehr gemütlich und bestens ausgestattet. Der Blick auf den Douro ist spektakulär - sogar bei schlechtem Wetter. Das Haus hat einen sehr schönen Garten und einen tollen Pool. Ideal für den Urlaub mit Kindern. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

Schönes kleines Häuschen mit Klimaanlage. Wunderbare, große Gartenanlage mit Zitrusbäumen und schönem gut gepflegtem Pool, den wir alleine nutzen konnten. Fahrzeit nach Porto Innenstadt ca. 30 min., guter Supermarkt (Continente) 15 min. Strand am Fluss (empfehlenswert!) 5 min. mit dem Auto, auch fußläufig möglich. Gut ausgestattete Küche. Aus manchen Ecken des Gartens Blick auf den Fluss. Checkin selbständig, Kommunikation sehr nett.

I would give 10 stars if possible! The place is just amazing, Paulo and Isabelle created a beautiful paradise with a breathtaking view and everything one needs for an unforgettable holiday. Simplesmente fantástico! Tivemos uma estadia incrível na casa do Rui e da Marisa. Tudo estava impecavelmente limpo, bem cuidado e com uma decoração cheia de bom gosto e atenção aos detalhes. Sentimo-nos em casa desde o primeiro momento. Adorámos o jacuzzi e, claro, o espaço da fogueira, que tornou as noites ainda mais especiais. Foi tudo pensado para proporcionar conforto e momentos memoráveis. Nota-se o carinho com que tudo foi preparado! Recomendamos a 100% e esperamos voltar no futuro. I enjoyed staying. From the location to the stylish furnishings it was what I was looking for. Although quiet in regards to food offerings there were two local eateries and a cafe. All I needed! Being close to the river I spend mornings with coffee and evenings with a glass of wine along the waterside. A (large) supermarket is only a short 15 minute drive allowing me to use the well equipped kitchen. I don’t hesitate to recommend Casa Douro!

We had such a glorious stay, we cannot recommend it enough. Carolina was super responsive and accommodating, gave us amazing recommendations of restaurants and kindly booked a couple of reservations for us. Everything is within walking distance throughout the city. The apartment is surrounded with beautiful views. The plunge pool was a lovely bonus to cool down in the late afternoon, not overlooked at all. Thank you again x

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit in Maureles genossen. Freundlicher Gastgeber und gute Unterstützung bei Fragen. Ruhige Lage und Ausstattung gemäss der Beschreibung. Ideal für Ausflüge in der Gegend (Fahrzeug notwendig). Für Wanderungen/Spaziergänge direkt von der Villa aus aber weniger geeignet.

We really enjoyed the house & the river. We enjoyed a bottle of wine & the local spirits. We took the train from Mosteiro to Pinhao which was beautiful & enjoyed a picnic in the hills above Loivos. Didn’t try the restaurants I’m afraid Rachel

This is a very special place with beauty everywhere you look including the architecture of the house utilising the natural materials of the region to blend into the landscape. Francisca cooked us a delicious three course meal including wine, delivered on a tray on our first night what a treat ! On Francisca’s recommendation we had a very authentic wine and food tour with Bambuti Tours we were overwhelmed with Portugal hospitality for the day and Viewed some amazing scenery, a great way to explore the valley. Casa Do Largo is situated in some of the most beautiful scenery in the valley and we enjoyed a whole day there , with a walk to the beautiful river first then a day enjoying the pool and the most comfortable home. This has been our favourite spot in Portugal and we would highly recommended you book it for at least 3 nights.

Estadia maravilhosa! O espaço era extremamente acolhedor, impecavelmente limpo e muito confortável. A piscina foi, sem dúvida, um dos pontos altos, perfeita para relaxar. O nosso patudo também adorou a experiência, o espaço era completamente vedado o que fez com que ele pudesse explorar à vontade sem termos de nos preocupar. Na casa tínhamos disponível um livrinho com sugestões de atividades, restaurantes, serviços e cartões com contatos de restaurantes. O Sr. António foi um anfitrião exemplar: sempre muito educado, disponível e prestável, o que contribuiu para uma experiência ainda mais agradável. Recomendo vivamente!

We've had an amazing 4 days here. It's just a perfect location and we felt at home here. The pool, the view, the garden with grill - everything was just perfect. The only 'negative' things, if you can call them negative, is that the bathroom is on a different floor than the bedrooms, and that the parking is a bit tight for a large car. We can fully recommend this place to anyone looking for a private getaway in a beautiful location.

Всё продумано до мелочей — в доме было много полезных вещей, которые делали жизнь комфортнее и удобнее. Отдельное удовольствие — это просторная терраса с потрясающим видом. По утрам мы завтракали на свежем воздухе, наслаждаясь тишиной и красотой вокруг. Всё вокруг было очень тихо и спокойно — идеальное место, чтобы отдохнуть от городской суеты. Хозяева — отдельная благодарность! Очень доброжелательные, внимательные и всегда готовы помочь. С ними было легко и приятно общаться. Этот дом стал для нас настоящим уютным уголком, и мы с радостью вернёмся сюда снова!

We had a lovely week at the house and the surrounding nature. The house was beautifully located, well equipped and clean! Although we had very rainy weather during our stay, we still enjoyed beautiful hikes and the house offered a cosy refuge for us. This was one of the most breathtaking views I’ve ever had at an Airbnb. The scenery was stunning, and the setting felt wonderfully secluded yet still just 15 minutes from the nearest supermarket (via a charming, winding road). The house was very comfortable and included a lovely pool — a perfect spot to unwind and take in the beauty around. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway.
