Holiday rentals with a pool in Castiglioncello

We had a beautiful stay in Alessandro’s home for one week in May 2025. The location was perfect to visit Pisa, Lucca and Florence as day trips. We were in the outskirts of old San Miniato - walking distance to restaurants and cafes, a short drive to the supermarket yet remote enough to be peaceful. We enjoyed the well appointed apartment which had everything we needed for our stay. We loved having dinner in our private garden amongst the olive trees and relaxing by the pool. We travelled with our bicycles and the areas surrounding San Miniato is just about the most beautiful riding I’ve ever found in Europe. Alessandro is clearly a very kind and welcoming gentleman, who enjoys hosting his guests, and we were grateful for his tips on what to visit and where to eat. We are sure we will be back again.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – sauber, gemütlich und perfekt ausgestattet. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber: Sie waren unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich und jederzeit ansprechbar. Dank ihrer Unterstützung und Gastfreundschaft wurde unser Urlaub noch entspannter und angenehmer. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können diese Unterkunft nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Wonderful place to either lay back and enjoy the picturesque-postcard view from the comfort of your front yard or the pool (which was refreshingly cool in June), or to go further explore Tuscany locations within reach. The house was beautiful, clean and equipped with everything you could ask for, ie a quiet and air conditioned bedroom, kitchen with a gas stove, fridge and a wood fired bbq and a jacuzzi + comfy seating outside. Shops, restaurants and bars are all within walking distance, max 10 minutes. Andrea is a fantastic host who clearly cares about providing the best possible stay for her guests, which she did. Whenever we return to Tuscany, we will definitely make sure to stay here at Palaia again.

Wij hebben een fantastische tijd bij de accommodatie van Nadia gehad. Het uitzicht is prachtig en een heel mooi zwembad dat goed onderhouden wordt door Giacomo. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen tips om te doen in de omgeving. Goede ligging vlak bij Lucca en in een mooie groene omgeving. Wij zouden dit zo nogj een keer boeken.

Wir waren heuer zum zweiten mal bei Maria und Massimo und kommen sicher nächstes Jahr wieder. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Die Ruhe ,die wunderschöne Natur und Landschaft herrlich! Massimo ist so freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir fühlten uns sehr wohl. Danke und auf baldiges Wiedersehen!

Villino Isotta è un alloggio che lascia senza fiato, super in ogni aspetto: posizione, pulizia, tutte le camere da letto sono climatizzate, le cucine ed i bagni ampiamente accessoriati, a pochi passi parcheggio gratuito e un caffè aperto fino a tarda sera. All'esterno un patio con vista sulle colline e poi il barbecue, e infine piscina dotata di ogni confort (doccia calda, vasca idromassaggio, lettini, wifi, ecc ecc). Ultimo ma non ultimo l'host Andrea, che ringrazio per l'incredibile e costante attenzione nei riguardi dei suoi ospiti dal primo istante (accogliendoci con un aperitivo di benvenuto) fino all'ultimo. Sempre presente ma mai invadente, sempre disponibile con consigli per rendere il soggiorno indimenticabile, una persona dal cuore immenso che gestisce con passione e serietà questo alloggio. E' stata dura tornare a casa, ci rivedremo sicuramente!

Amazing location and responsive host. Incredible pool with an outstanding view. House, especially the Kitchen, was well well stocked with amenities needed. Highly recommended!

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Ideales kleines Sommerhaus mit traumhaften Pool, der zum Schwimmen einlädt. Wir hatten das ganze Grundstück alleine für uns. Entspannung pur. Für unseren Hund gab es genug zu entdecken und direkt nebenan ein Wanderweg bis zur Bergspitze. Man kann von hier die Toskana in all ihren Farben erleben und wer gern im Meer baden möchte, der Weg ist nicht weit. So wie viele andere Highlights. Unsere Gastgeber waren stets erreichbar und um unser Wohlbefinden bemüht, danke dafür. Danke für den schönen Urlaub.

Wir hatten mit unseren Kindern (7 & 9 Jahre) einen wunderschönen Urlaub im Poggio al Cassone. Die Städte Pisa, Lucca, Volterra und Florenz haben wir sehr gut erreichen können. Für die Kinder war der Pool das Highlight nach den Ausflügen. Die gesamte Anlage ist wunderschön gestaltet, das Appartement wirklich gross und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir können uns gut vorstellen, wieder zu kommen. :)

Downstairs bedroom can be damp, dehumidifier must be used and reservoir emptied often (make sure drain plug is secure on back of unit). Had issues with hot water, which impacted the showers/sinks, radiators, and towel warmers. Once reported, Dennis was on top of the problem to get it resolved. He offered compensation or the ability to find another place. The problem was fixed for our stay. We would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at this apartment! The place was exactly as shown in the photos – spotlessly clean, stylishly decorated, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable few days. I especially appreciated the peaceful location. Communication with the host was smooth, friendly, and quick. Check-in and check-out were easy and hassle-free. Thoughtful touches like coffee, tea, and fresh towels made the stay even more enjoyable. I would absolutely recommend this apartment and would love to stay here again. The place was absolutely beautiful and the atmosphere was warm and cosy. Alessandro and Elena took great care of their guest and always made sure that everything was okay and offered they help if needed. The restaurant was nice with an Italien feel to it, and simply by asking and mentioning you could even get gluten free portions. The place is calm and you can enjoy your evenings with a glass of wine and watching the sunset. All and all we enjoyed our stay here and would recommend this place to those who want an authentic, peacefull and enjoyable place to stay for their trip to Tuscany.

Tolle Unterkunft direkt am Strand. Nur wenige Meter über die Düne und schon macht sich ein herrlicher Strand auf. Es gibt direkt nebenan schöne Standbars, in denen man den morgendlichen Cappuccino genießen kann. Das Appartement war liebevoll eingerichtet mit vielen Details. Irgendwie war alles da, ob zum Kochen oder Utensilien für den Strand. Wir hatten 4h Stau bei der Anreise und konnten den Check-In nicht rechtzeitig erreichen. Trotzdem war Sharon für uns noch um 23 Uhr da. Das war super.

Unser Aufenthalt in Lari bei Susie & Paolo war toll. Die beiden waren tolle Gastgeber, sie waren immer erreichbar, sehr aufmerksam und super lieb. Das Appartement war super gemütlich, sehr gepflegt und mit allem was wir brauchten ausgestattet. Im Garten gibt es eine schöne Außenküche mit Grill und Pizzaofen, die wir beide genutzt haben. Es gibt viele Plätze im zum sitzen und chillen. Auch der Poobereich ist sehr schön angelegt und umzäunt. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und geben eine klare Weiterempfehlung 🫶

Wir (6 Erwachsene, 2 kleine Kinder) hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit. Wir haben den großen, gepflegten Garten mit Ausblick und den Pool genossen, sowie die sehr gut ausgestattete Küche, den Grill und den Pizzasteinofen im Garten. Das Haus ist groß, komfortabel und sauber. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut und schnell erreichbar. Es ist nah an Florenz und anderen sehenswerten Städten. Die Kommunikation, der Check-in und - out verliefen unkompliziert, freundlich und reibungslos. Wir kommen gerne wieder :)

Nicoletta greeted us at check in and gave us a tour of the property. She was always responsive and timely. The listing quite frankly undersold the size, space, and beauty of the entire package. The house kept its historical charm while offering the modern amenities including large updated bathrooms, pool, gardens, lounging areas, and a full kitchen. Staying here was truly and escape to the country side where the private pool overlooked an amazing and secluded view of the area. This house is ideal for those seeking an authentic Italian villa. It was really an amazing experience.

Wunderschönes, gepflegtes Anwesen, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, herrliche Aussicht.

This is a wonderful setting: absolutely beautiful gardens full of roses (in May), stunning views, lots of sunny terraces and places to sit, and a lovely pool. The house itself is very well-equipped, and attractively furnished with antiques, and comfortable beds. The kitchen has everything you could need. There are great places in easy reach, including Certaldo (take the funicular up, and we recommend the Fonte Antica restaurant), San Gimignano with its towers and allegedly the best ice cream in the world, and Colle Val d'Elsa. There is good train access from Castelfiorentino station to Siena, Florence. Arianna our host was very welcoming and helpful, and lives nearby for any queries. If en suite bathrooms are your thing (we don't particularly care), you might find the arrangements of bedrooms and bathrooms a bit unusual; only the room with two single beds is truly en suite, and the bedrooms in the basement share a bathroom with no door between the two bedrooms. But not a problem for us

Utrolig fin utsikt! Svært rent og ryddig bolig og bassengområde. Utrolig imøtekommende og hyggelig vert.

Wir waren zu 6 auf diesem wunderschönen Anwesen und haben einige ruhige Tage in der Natur verbracht. Die Unterkunft ist etwas abgelegen wenn du also Ruhe und Entspannung suchst ist der Ort ideal. Mit dem Auto sind Einkaufsmöglichkeiten gut zu erreichen. Das Haus bietet viel Umschwung und die Sonnentage am Pool mit atemberaubender Aussicht aus Meer waren wunderschön.

Wir waren mit einer größeren Gruppe von Freunden dort und hatten einen super schönen Urlaub! Der Gastgeber Juri war sehr freundlich und hat sofort auf Fragen geantwortet. Das Haus war groß und bestens ausgestattet. Im Haupthaus und im kleineren Haus am Pool gab es jeweils eine Küche. Man kann auf der Terrasse sehr schön mit allen zusammen essen. Wir haben uns rundum wohl gefühlt. Zum nächsten Supermarkt fährt man knappe 10min, nach Lucca ins Stadtzentrum 15min und ca. 30min nach Pisa. Für uns war die Lage perfekt. Vor Ort ist es ruhig und wir hatten keine direkten Nachbarn.
