The small Torricina is part of a hotel spread over several locations (La Torre del Cornone), located in the historic center of Fontecchio (AQ), a five-minute walk from the main square (Piazza del Popolo). Fontecchio is a town with a medieval layout and appearance, located in the heart of the Sirente Velino Park. The Torricina is one of the towers that controlled the Aterno Valley from the southern corner of the walls, with a spectacular view of the green and silent valley of the Aterno River.

The nearest neighbor is 200m away, so with the exception of the occasional friendly farmer on his tractor, you are able to enjoy the blissful peacefulness of country living.

Rest, nature and tradition among olive groves and renowned wineries overlooking the mountains of Abruzzo. Straddling the sea and mountains, it's a great starting point for exploring the area. A few kilometers from the main highway connections and the historic center of Nocciano. Possibility of horseback riding and cycling along the Nora river. A visit to the castle of Nocciano and the hamlet of Villa Badessa, a center of Greco-Byzantine culture, is interesting.

Glamping Abruzzo - The Yurt

This luxurious yurt, with its own private hot-tub and fire-pit, is set in a peaceful olive grove, with sweeping views to the Majella mountain. Part of an organic olive farm, thirty minutes from Pescara Airport. Magnificent National Parks are nearby and the local restaurants are excellent too. Regretably, we are unable to accomodate pets, or chilldren under the age of 12 and alterations to your reservation are only accomodated prior to seven days in advance.

"O blessed solitude, or only bliss" Immersed in the tranquility of nature and a few meters from the Annorsi Fountain and its precious spring water, the "Gran Sasso Refuge" was a stable for sheep. After years of abandonment, converted to residential and accommodation use, it found a second life thanks to a wise renovation that, while respecting the context, made use of the latest technologies such as the floor heating system or the ventilated roof structure

We chose simple and humble materials...Wood and rope...We searched for them, found them, studied them, treated them and assembled them...The result: an environment set up with unique pieces, made by us!
