Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Castle Rock Lake

Me and my friends enjoyed our stay. It was peaceful and very scenic. Michelle was friendly and very responsive. The home was beautiful.

Took my father and a couple of friends up to fish the river for the weekend. We came across Tims place and it couldn't have worked out any better. Private cabin setting with water access. Tim was very accomodating and responsive. I would highly reccomend, just don't have it booked next time we want to visit again!

Our extended family enjoyed our weekend stay at the guesthouse. Beautiful accommodations, quiet - secluded setting, well furnished, with spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds. Although the house was not huge, our family of 12 was very comfortable and we enjoyed the walking trails through the property and fires in the evenings as we star gazed. We have gathered for Memorial Day weekends the last 25 years, and this would rank up with one of our favorite experiences.

Carol’s place was a great location for a family event in Wonewoc. Thank you for the extras for us to enjoy breakfast in the morning. While in Union Center we enjoyed a round a golf at the Rockin’ 9 and drinks at Holy Cow.

This house is completely renovated and is set on Lake Mason (just 15-20 minutes from the Dells). The quality of the renovations (including a new pier on the lake) coupled with the cleanliness of the property, make it a gem of a find. The owner, Mike, is easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property and will definitely be back.

It was a great place to stay. Very remote. Right off the water so it was nice for fishing. Plenty of space for a bigger group.

We had a fantastic stay at the Rustic Shed while celebrating our parents’ 40th wedding anniversary! The space was perfect for our family gathering—cozy yet spacious, with plenty of thoughtful touches. We especially enjoyed the fun game room, the convenient fire pit for evening campfires, and the extremely comfortable sleeping arrangements. The bathrooms were impressively clean and roomy, which made the stay even more enjoyable for our whole group. The location was ideal—tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private, yet just a short drive from all the excitement in the Wisconsin Dells. Sondra was an exceptional host, providing clear, timely communication and some excellent local recommendations that really enhanced our visit. It was the perfect place for our family to relax, reconnect, and make lasting memories together. Highly recommended!

We stayed here with 16 family members (ages 7–75) and everyone had an amazing time. The house is beautiful, spotless, and so well-organized, with washer/dryers on both floors—perfect for a big group. The lake is small, clean, calm, and shallow at the edges, which meant our kids could be safely independent with life jackets, kayaks, and paddleboards. There’s a little island and two floating platforms that created nonstop fun—ours loved paddling out with snacks! The sandy beach had tons of toys, and the fire pits (including one in a screened porch—great for evenings without bugs) were perf. Hosts were incredibly responsive and proactive, solving anything quickly. We enjoyed the local lunch spots on castle lake. Worth noting: the lake is in a subdivision and the homes are fairly close together, so you can hear neighbors’ music/conversations across the water. Didn’t bother us, but good to know if you're looking for seclusion. Overall, a truly special place—we’d return in a heartbeat!

Beautiful place, furnished so nicely. Calming decor, quality everything! This place is hospital clean! Andrea thought of every need. I especially loved the covered porch. Great location.

Nice, quiet, spacious room. Walkable to pool and restaurant. Decent prices and many food choices on menu. We all enjoyed our dinner. Pool area was clean and the kids had fun in there. Easy and clear check in and check out instructions. Would recommend as it was much more cost effective than staying at one of the waterpark hotels if looking for a nice place to stay short term.

Nice place! Easy to get to and right in the middle of the dells with a great view of the river. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place for a quick trip to the dells. It was clean and the staff were super nice. Amir was quick in responding and very helpful.

Remote and quiet. I thought we were by a lake but it is removed from the water. Nicely set up with fire-pit and comfortable outdoor seating. accommodations are comfy and cozy.

We enjoyed our stay. Front desk staff was very responsive. Space was roomy & comfortable. Pool was very warm & large. Bummed there wasn't a hot tub, but at least the pool was warm. Kitchen has lots of pots, pans, etc. Microwave, toaster, coffee pot (but no coffee grounds & the filters didn't fit the pot).

We just got back from an unforgettable stay at Luke & Abby’s incredible getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was clear they are exceptional hosts. Thoughtful, responsive, and genuinely welcoming. We were three families with kids of all ages, and this place checked every single box. Well appointed, and clearly designed with both comfort and fun in mind. The private beach access was amazing for the toddlers, while the kayaks gave us a peaceful (and sometimes splashy!) adventure on the water. Evenings were a blast with snooker, retro arcade games, and that magic massage chair which became my personal favorite after hiking by Devil’s Lake. A special shoutout for the EV charging hub onsite, came in so handy for our day trips. And how could I forget the Spotted Cow surprise in the fridge? You didn’t have to… but we’re so glad you did! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect mix of relaxation, recreation, and real hospitality. Until next time, Luke & Abby, thank you again!

A very nice clean and comfortable cottage. We were there for walleye fishing on the Petenwell flowage...very close to the county park boat ramp, and very close to a friendly bait shop and gas...we are definitely planning on returning. Thank you

We had a group of 11 people staying at the cabin together for our annual friends trip. It was fantastic! Beautiful cabin and I almost feel like the pictures don’t do it justice. It felt bigger than the photos made it look. There was so many provided amenities and activities in the garage. Host provided easy to follow instructions. I agree that bringing your own drinking water and bug stray is IMPORTANT. Everyone had a blast!

My two best friends and I stayed at the fabulous Refugio Graziella for a relaxing girls’ weekend and it. was. perfect. Most of the weekend was spent lounging and chatting in all the many wonderful spaces the home offers: sipping coffee on the peaceful screened-in porch, relaxing in the hot tub, roasting marshmallows at the serene fire pit under the string lights with ample firewood and supplies, doing crafts and playing games at the inviting dining room table, cooking meals in the fully equipped kitchen, and listening to music in the cozy living room. We did not end up using the sauna (just didn’t have time), but are already planning a winter getaway to RG. We absolutely loved our stay and highly recommend it if you are looking for a quiet getaway, surrounded by nature but still a short drive away from anything you need or want. Clearly, so much thought was put into anticipating the needs of their guests, and that makes Refugio Graziella a place you immediately feel comfortable. 🥰
