Private suite holiday rentals in Castro Valley

Our family of 5 (2 parents and 3 teens) had a wonderful stay at George’s suite. It was super clean, in a pleasant neighborhood, a quick drive to the airport, had plenty of beds, and had everything we needed (and more!). Unfortunately, we didn’t stay long enough to use the washer/dryer, hot plate/pans, or cute patio. It was such a smart use of space. George was friendly, responsive, and flexible. Thank you, George! :)

Julia was always prompt in her communication. The place was comfortable and within minutes to many locations.

We had a fantastic time at this beautiful guest home. The space was spotless, well-stocked, and incredibly comfortable, especially the beds! The full kitchen made meals easy, and the private yard was a real bonus with lovely patio furniture, a gorgeous garden, and even fruit trees like lemon and kiwi. It felt peaceful and relaxing throughout. The host was very responsive and made everything smooth from start to finish. Highly recommend and would absolutely stay again!

Very comfortable. Was nice to have EV charging and dishwasher but refrigerator does not have freezer. Josh was great host.

This is a great place to stay in Berkeley! It is close to downtown Berkeley (with great food) and the University. It is also a near a BART station (which I used to get to Oracle Park! ) Shannon was also super accommodating and understanding of my situations and for that I truly appreciate it! Tysm! Highly recommended for OOMPH students at UC Berkeley, super convenient and near the building where your classes take place. Favorite food place so far: Cholita Linda Will come back here again! Everything exceeded requirements. I could not have been better treated from a hotel. The room is completely private from the house. The bathroom and fixtures appear newly renovated. Plus a small refrigerator/freezer and beautifully set up tea, coffee and snack display. The satin bed cover added elegance. I never saw my hosts, nor needed to. but they contacted me daily to ask if I needed anything or tell me about local places to visit. I could not have been more pleased.

Sweet and clean house, my girlfriend and I had a very cozy stay here, the backyard is feeling mellow, it was so nice to sit there and watch the sunset. By the way, there are books and music records (mostly jazz) about San Francisco. All in all, lovely place, would recommend!

I always stay at Airbnb's when I'm traveling... this one exceeded all of my expectations! Mike's place is paradise. The views are phenomenal and the little coastal town of Pacifica is welcoming and comfortable. They recommended lovely hikes and places to eat. (Devil's slide hike was spectacular and make sure you check out Soul Grind Cafe!) I can't wait to visit again next year!!!

Sara was such an amazing host. Very responsive and understanding. The home was simple, clean, convenient, and nice. We felt at home. It wasn’t too far from the city and we enjoyed our stay!

Her place is absolutely beautiful—every detail was thoughtfully curated, and it felt like a true home away from home. From check-in to check-out, everything was seamless. We are just back from a 6-day stay at the Suite on Camden and loved it. The suite has lovely gray and slate blue decor throughout, a super comfy bed, huge closet, beautiful bathroom and a full kitchen with everything you need to cook! The deck and backyard are so spacious and pretty - perfect for enjoying an evening drink and for quick potty breaks for our little dog. The neighborhood was a sweet surprise - quiet (although close to the freeway), beautiful views from the hills, flowers everywhere, very walkable with our pooch and everyone we ran into was so nice. We are spoiled now - can’t imagine staying anywhere else when going to the Bay Area - thanks, Sam and Jessica!

Great space to stay! Laura had a very well stocked kitchenette. Coffee, water, and pretty much anything you may need to make a quick meal. Iron was also included which really came in handy. The outdoor area was also such a nice perk.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The view of the water was amazing to wake up to, lots of wildlife, and felt very private. The studio is clean and charming and has plenty of kitchenware despite not having a full kitchen! Would definitely stay here again.

Worth every penny! I recommend a stay here for very exclusive privacy. Also every morning we see a deer family & hear birds singing like a Disney movie!

Great stay for 8 days at this little garden retreat. Angel was a great on site host and accommodated any of my asks very quickly. The studio was perfect for me as a solo traveler and the gardens were a lovely respite to all the hubbub of my week in the bay. Loved chatting with the chickens in the morning and even got a couple eggs. Perfect for a laid back traveler who wants a little oasis close to Bart. Will definitely stay again and telling all my friends about it! Thank you!

My sister and I loved our stay here! It was nice and cozy and felt very private. The hosts’ expectations and instructions were super easy to follow! And the place was super tidy as well. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Berkeley! :)

It was the perfect spot for us with our dog to discover the Bay Area. Around the corner are great trails where you can walk with your dog and the garden is a fantastic save space to let him free thanks to the gated entrance. The space itself is small, but has everything you need. And with the nice weather we almost only sat outside. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need to do basic cooking.

This is a super Airbnb location with a friendly and responsive host. The tranquil setting and private access made for a very restful stay. The kitchen was exceptionally well equipped, both the bed and sofa-bed were wonderfully clean and comfy, and the shower was majestic! Fred has thought of every detail to make his guests feel at home. We would definitely stay again!

It was a great spot for a one-week visit to the area. It's a quiet neighborhood with views of the Bay and beyond. Blake Garden is just a three-minute walk away, and it was beautiful in May. We spotted local wildlife in the area (mostly when driving home at night): deer, raccoons, and a downhill neighbor seems to have a skunk family living in their driveway. The unit itself is perfect for a couple, and the sofa bed was comfortable for a kid of any size. The shared laundry room was available and convenient. We agree with others who have noted that the in-wall space heater was a little loud. This would not normally be a problem for us, as the droning fan creates white noise -- except at certain temperatures, the thermostat would occasionally cause it to repeatedly turn on and off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would consider returning if in the area again.

Only stay here if you love: abundance of nature, respected quiet hours , goofy and sweet dog, and a nice walk up a small hill for a cute market (serving free coffee in the mornings ) !! My partner and I loved our Bamboo staycation so much. and yes , there are sounds that feel above your head in the mornings , from Brownies nails on the floor and humans walking, (Brownie and co started moving around 7 am daily for our 2 week stay) for a short time , we could fall back asleep most days, or used it as an alarm clock. We were cozy, comfortable, and relaxed for our time in Jess’s nature based space! Highly recommend! I’ll miss you Brownie!
