Beach house holiday rentals in Caswell Beach

This home has everything you need for a relaxing coastal stay. The beautiful deck with Adirondack chairs is perfect for watching the waves and enjoying a cocktail. The kitchen was well-stocked with essentials (like a peeler and bottle opener), which made it easy to cook meals for our family of five. The TV setup worked great for a cozy family movie night. We brought our own beach toys and chairs, but it would be a nice touch if the property offered some for guest use. The outdoor shower, easy parking and laundry downstairs completed the package! We only stayed one night but definitely would come back for longer. The beach here is gorgeous!

stayed June 7th-14th 2025 and we had a great vacation. house was on the beach and walkable to the resturants and boardwalk. would recommend and stay again.

We loved the hammock house! It was so peaceful and beautiful. It was also very convenient to be able to walk to the beach easily and there were amazing restaurants and plenty to do nearby. We will be back!

Dune Daddy was such a wonderful, memorable experience. The cottage is decorated beautifully and being right on the beach with an outside shower and lovely porch to sit on in the mornings and evenings was such a joy. I highly recommend this rental and hope to return there again in the future!

Loved our stay here! The walking distance to the beach was perfect for our family. The kitchen is also well stocked with pots/pans/etc which made family meals easy in the house. Lindsey was great with communication pre and post visit

Couldn’t ask for a better location. Gorgeous views of the ocean, easy access to the beach, walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The bottom of the house is basically a big sandbox that our 4 year old and dog could play in all day. Peaceful and relaxing vacation. We’d stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sandy’s place. The house was clean, didn’t have a bad smell, and without stains. The kitchen was stocked with utensils and cooking items we needed throughout our stay. We were steps away from the beach, which was great and the views were amazing. The house is located in a perfect spot. A couple miles from the point to view sunsets and 8 miles to restaurants and shops. The house is also located in between 2 public beach access points so the beach area behind the house was never busy with other beach goers. We appreciated the baby and kid items at the house for our family. Our only complaints were that the wifi wasn’t very fast, and the walk path to the beach was a little weedy. Overall this was the perfect house and beach spot for our family vacation. Check in and checkout instructions were simple and Sandy was very helpful when we had questions and easy to communicate with. We have already recommended this house to others and would love to go back.

We had a great stay! The location was perfect and the house was extremely clean and cozy. Communication with the host was smooth and very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

We loved the house!! The pool was great for relaxing and all of the rooms were spacious and had fresh sheets. The location is amazing right next to the grocery store and block from the beach! One thing to note, two of the rooms are not separated by a door. But overall we loved our stay so much and had a great time!!

If you're looking for a place that checks all the boxes and still gives you vacation bragging rights, this is it. We stayed here with a whole crew (kids included), and honestly, it was a vibe. The house was super clean, spacious enough that no one was fighting over bathrooms or elbow room, and kid-friendly, which is code for "we didn’t have to yell 'don’t touch that' every 5 minutes." The beach? Literally across the street. We rolled out of bed and into the sand. The pool was clean, refreshing, and perfect for the whole family. Also, location-wise—10/10. Grocery store, restaurants, mini golf, and souvenir shops were all nearby. Bottom line: great house, great location, great memories. If you’re on the fence about booking—I highly recommend you do!

It was great! Only improvement would have been close enough to hear ocean and a hammock on front porch! We are hoping we can reserve again for next year.

This home is so cute! Very clean and well decorated. My girls loved the bunk beds. Look even better than the photos. Great location, just minutes down the road to the boardwalk, and restaurants. Quick walk also to the beach, easy enough to take your stuff by hand if needed and it wasn’t dreadful. The host Johnathan was one of the best host we’ve experienced, very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. My family had a blast, our first time here and definitely won’t be our last time to Carolina Beach.

This was a great location for our family of 5. House was extremely tidy and had lots of family style items to help you feel right at home, especially if you have children or a pet! This is the first trip I’ve taken where I didn’t have to pack a dog bed and bowls. The backyard has storage containers with kid friendly games. Indoors, you have the option to use yoga mats, kids toys + books, and weights. I can tell Doodles place really considers the comfort of your vacation especially with little ones. We packed a first aid kit + aloe, but doodles place had that available in the downstairs bathroom! Most cleaning supplies provided as well! I do wish it was within walking distance to the beach, but with freeman park nearby this was no issue. Love the porch swing and gates provided so you can keep your little ones / pets on the porch with you, or upstairs with you! I would book again, and the hosts were very responsive!

Beautiful home that met our every need in a great location. The new ping pong table downstairs has started a family rivalry that we had fun with and the pool was a big hit with the kiddos.

The home was very accommodating with the rooms and bathrooms, decent living area and kitchen. Home was walking distance to the beach and surrounding restaurants, peaceful neighborhood. Would book again when visiting again!

Brightside Bungalow is the perfect spot for any family visiting Oak Island. No detail was forgotten. Everything was just as described and absolutely beautiful. It was an easy short walk to the beach. We loved the outdoor shower and all the extra touches provided. We loved our stay and hope to be back some time in the future!

Stayed at this beautiful house for a girls trip. Was a little worried about the “5 min walk” to the beach but it was easy and accurate. The house is tucked away in a little cul-de-sac that is quiet and private. Gorgeous bathrooms, high ceilings and loved the fire pit! Overall great stay.

This is one of the nicest homes we’ve stayed in! Just a few blocks from the beach and her home is immaculate…Comfortable beds, super clean and all of the amenities one could want.. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely loved our stay at this comfy, cozy 3-bedroom getaway near the beach! From the moment we arrived, everything was perfect for me and my family. The house was sparkling clean, beautifully maintained, and had such a warm, welcoming vibe! We felt right at home. The fire pit in the backyard was a favorite! We spent evenings out there making s’mores and sharing laughs. The location was amazing, just a short walk to the beach, which made it easy to go back and forth with the kids. The host was fantastic, super proactive and responsive. Anytime we had a question or needed anything, they got back to us right away and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth stay. We would 100% recommend this comfortable spot to anyone looking for a relaxing beach escape. It’s perfect for families, couples, or even a girls’ weekend. We’re already talking about coming back again!

The house was even more spacious than it appeared in the photos, with plenty of room for our group of adults and young children to relax and enjoy. The short walk to the beach access made it super convenient, and the location was ideal for everything we needed. Matthew was an outstanding host—responsive, helpful, and thoughtful. He went above and beyond to make sure the house was equipped with everything we needed, and when a small issue came up, he responded quickly with helpful solutions. The cottage fulfilled all our needs and was in a great location for all the activities we had in mind when traveling the island. It was nice and clean and the host was very accommodating and was great in communication. I'd definitely stay here again if I ever make another trip to Oak Island!
