Smoking-friendly holiday rentals in Cat Ba

I would highly recommend this unit for an overnight (or longer) stay in Ha Long Bay. It's spacious and beautiful inside, and in a great location for touring the city. Kane is a very friendly and helpful host, he quickly greeted us to help us check in once we arrived. Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience!

I arrived early in the morning and was tired, but they were considerate enough to let me in before the check-in time. The host was friendly. I want to come again next time.

Visiting for a few days, we were able to enjoy this great airbnb. Everything is clean, as described, and smelled good. I would highly recommend it! For people who are used to doing everything on foot, the restaurants are a little far away but here everything is done by grab/scooter. Also, very nice responsiveness from our host. Thank you very much!

This room, my friends and I really like it, we were very amazing when we opened the door, and there is a big terrace to see the night view, next time we go to Halong Bay, we will definitely stay in this one.

Very kind and lovely host. Easily accessible. The house is like in the pictures. Very spacious and nice. The only bad thing is that it's far from everything, even for a coffee in the morning. It is true that a grab costs 1.3 euros in the marina, where there is more life, but you have to know that you have nothing close to go. The fridge had beers and cocacolas and water (great detail) and had tea to make as well as some food. The house is comfortable for up to 6 people.

The stay was great, really enjoyed the place. It’s a bit out of the way from everything, and if you want to use the buildings amenities you do have to pay extra (20$USD a day is what I paid for pools and gym.) the beds could use a mattress topper as they are stiff. Those are my only comments but 5 stars!!!!

Two nights and three days in Halong Bay, it was not just a trip, it was a small miracle time. The accommodation we stayed in is a 4-story villa. But isn't this villa, there was an elevator! For a moment, "Isn't this almost luxury here?" I was surprised to see it. Thanks to the cookable kitchen, we had the pleasure of cooking ourselves, and there was even a bicycle, so we were able to walk around the grocery store and freely. But what was even more inspiring than all of this was the Trang host. He was like a hidden fairy trying to make our trip more special. They always take care of us if we need anything, call a taxi, and even book a cruise trip... Isn't this the hidden challenge of our trip? It was kind and welcoming, and it was full of care, so I felt like I was receiving genuine hospitality, not just a service. Thanks to this, Halong Bay will be remembered as a place where human warmth permeates beyond a city of magnificent scenery. If I come back one day, I want to meet you again.

It's great to stay in Ha Long Bay for more than a day. The owner helped me with the limousine from Hanoi to Ha Long Bay and Ninh Binh Dasihano, and the limousine drivers were very friendly and everything was good. The Vietnamese noodle restaurant right next to the accommodation in the morning is clean and really delicious.

What a fantastic place! I can't imagine there are places in the same price category that can offer as much as Orestay Homestay does. Nice and clean big rooms, comfy beds and pillows, fast internet, new TV's, helpful and really friendly hosts, great breakfast, relaxing atmosphere in the garden. I've been traveling for a month and this was definitely the place where I got most value for my money. A perfect place to stay for a couple of days if you're visiting Ha Long.

I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely recommend Minh Vui as a host! The apartment has an amazing view and is right next to the beach so perfect for sea swimming everyday. There is also a washing machine and hob so it is easy to be self-sufficient if you want but also loads of great food options around as recommended by the host! Minh Vui was really helpful and always responded quickly.

Nguyen was very responsive, had great recommendations, and helped every time we reached out. The property was even better than we expected with access to great views, restaurants, spas, bars, etc. Our experience was 10 times better given the experience and we were sad when we had to leave! 11/10 would recommend :)

What was meant as a brief stay became a deeply healing chapter of nearly three months. We left with full hearts, grateful for every breeze, every sunrise, and every gentle kindness. From the windows, you’re not just gazing at a view you’re witnessing the quiet majesty of a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Ha Long Bay stretches out like a living painting, shifting with light and mist in a way that never grows old. There’s even a fantastic restaurant right on the ground floor. Many of there dishes are beyond delicious and perfect after a long day of exploring. This is more than a home it is a haven for those seeking meaning, beauty, and connection. 100/5 stars.
