Our stay at Sabina and Dave's Lough Sillan Cottages was amazing. We were looking for somewhere to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary with a quiet relaxing break away from our busy family lifestyle (3 kids under 6!) and this fit the bill perfectly. Sabina and Dave are the most down to earth, genuine people you could meet and it's clear to see that they have taken a lot of time and effort to try and think of every little thing that could make your stay with them as comfortable and relaxing as possible. The accommodation is located on 10 acres of fabulous gardens and ancient woodlands that are full of wildlife which you are free to explore at will. The on-site spa area is fantastic as you can make 2 private bookings per day (included in the overall cost) and relax in the hot tub or sauna overlooking the magnificent Lough Sillan. They even provide access to Kayak's free of charge so that you can explore the lake! We enjoyed our stay so much we're already planning our next visit.

Felt cosy and at home from the moment we arrived. Charming cottage, unpretentious and practical. We stopped off after a 2pm docking at Larne, en route to Mayo. Would happily do so again. Excellent restaurant less than 10 minutes away (Wild Thyme). Decent pub close by. Although it's on the main street the traffic is pretty light and we had no bother with noise. Host super helpful....mailed us a jumper we had carelessly left behind.

Such an amazing stay! Was perfect for a girls weekend and Sabina and David thought of absolutely everything! They were so welcoming and were on hand for any questions we may have had and even for a tour. Will absolutely be back :)
