The old world charm was relaxing and nostalgic, and the host and caretaker's service and responsiveness were excellent. Already making plans to go back! Can I give this place 6 stars? I have seen my fair share of Airbnbs, resorts, and hotels in many parts of the world, yet our jaw dropped the moment we entered this one. It's not just a resort. The whole place is a gorgeous work of art! Very tastefully and meticulously designed from the way that the river was harnessed, the accent pieces and decorations, the flooring of the pool, to the framing of the view outside the windows -- including the showers. This place did not simply rely on its location being beside the river. It melded its design with it. There were surprises everywhere, simply so much to take in. And yet the place was so clean. We were there for 2 nights and up to the last minute we were filled with awe. To boot, the kitchen was HUGE with plenty of equipment. The staff were so kind and helpful, and Ma Cristina was such a nice, accommodating host. Can't stop gushing about this place. My whole extended family loved it and want to return. If you stay, you will understand why.
