Gîte du Levant, in an 18th century mansion

LaureRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We had a very good stay at the Levant cottage. First of all, Cécile was very responsive and available before our arrival. She sent us very useful directions to reach the place, which is a little hidden behind the church of Caumont. The photos are a faithful reflection of the state of the house. The place is very quiet and peaceful, the rooms are spacious and high-ceilinged, the living room is bright. Mattresses are comfortable. We enjoyed the space and the freshness of the house and especially, the large garden where we were able to have lunch under a tree in the shade and cool. There is also a large terrace in front of the house but it is in full sun in the morning. We came for a wedding at the Ségur estate, 5 minutes by car and it was perfect. Cécile was even kind enough to offer us a delicious jar of homemade jam. Thanks again for hosting us!

Charming cottage with jacuzzi, Gironde

We LOVED our stay. The home is super stylish AND comfortable. Plus, it’s very private. We felt like we had our own home in the vineyards, away from *everything* (although you can still drive to Saint Emillion in 30 minutes or Bordeaux in around an hour). Karine also supplied everything you would need or want, including a speaker so you can hang out in the garden/hot tub and listen to music, which we did most of the time 😅 Overall I can’t recommend it enough. We actually hope to come back and stay because we enjoyed our week there so much!

We loved our stay here. Prime location for a stay at Plum Village New Hamlet - just a 4 minute walk. The hosts do ask you to clean the place on your way out. The place is super nice and convenient. Very nice stay.

Petit Est Eco Cottage & garden near Saint-Émilion

SophieRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We hade a lovely time here. The house, garden and it's surroundings are beautiful and peaceful and Rachel is such accommodating, amazing and helpful host. There is a lake and forest nearby where you can swim or take a walk. A big plus was also discovering that the kitchen is fully equipped which we appreciated. Would love to return!

Luxurious country house (pool, sauna, spa)

BethRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…
