Lake house holiday rentals in Cedar Bluff

It was clear they had put a lot of time in decor. The house is on a hill and had several 2 steps of stairs. Would not be appropriate for handicap individuals. It had upscale coffee maker and appliances. House appeared clean. They had candles and a bottle of wine all great! Lamps in master bedroom did not work for us. Tv remote did not work for us. We loved how quiet it was there.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay for our family Christmas. The house was spacious and very accommodating for all of us. It’s in a beautiful tranquil location and I will definitely rent again!! Thank you so much Victoria for being a great host and sharing this lovely home!

This is a beautiful home with all the amenities! It was pristinely clean, smelling great, but not overpowering at all! Easy to check in, I had one little snag with the Ring alarm system, but Nicole and Damion responded quickly to help. The beds were comfy, pillows too, even though I brought my own. No ceiling fans in the bedrooms, but there were these wonderful oscillating desk fans that did the job just fine! I liked sleeping with it on so much, that I may have to get one for my own room! The TVs had many subscription services already signed in and available with a profile for Airbnb guests so that was nice. Shampoo and body wash was even provided! The view from the deck and the huge living room windows was awesome as well! Plenty of space to relax! Loved this home! Thanks for a great weekend!

The house was great! Beautiful views... right on the lake..hot tub. Patio was enormous! Nice being able to grill. Showers were perfect and plenty of bathrooms! I'm a homebody but was totally comfortable. Any questions, the host responded IMMEDIATELY! She's great! Looking forward to my next stay.

Had a great time. House was clean and location was nice. Very well decorated and house has been recently updated. Dock was great for swimming and we even caught a few fish off of it. The only thing I didn't really care for is the amount of cameras around the outside of the house. There are at least 4 cameras on the outside of the house and even one down on the dock. Not a fan of that, but maybe thats just me.

Very spacious home with plenty of amenities for a relaxing stay. We appreciated the kitchen's being so well stocked with plates, bowls, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils. (So many places boast having a full kitchen but don't give you enough tableware to prepare meals for the number of guests they claim to accommodate.) Spending sunset on the top level of the dock, with the surrounding frog chorus and lapping water, was magical.

We had such a relaxing and fun weekend away! The view is GORGEOUS and the cottage is as cute as can be. Angela is a wonderful host, and we can’t wait to return!

Great place for the whole family to enjoy. Clean and plenty of space to gather together but also have your own bedroom space. The pool table was super fun!

We had a wonderful time even through the pouring down rain. Big well stocked kitchen, great dining room for meals and playing games. Comfy living room to sit with visit with family. Beautifully decorated home, very welcoming. We'd stay here again just to watch the lake.

Christines place was a great place to stay. It was very clean and accomadating with everything you could need for your stay. We felt right at home. Christine was great with communicating. She got right back to us when we had questions. We really loved being able to walk the property and fish in the ponds. Wildlife was everywhere. We saw plenty of deer, rabbits and the blue heron. Love that the back was fenced in for our doggie.

William was welcoming and gave us great restaurants to go to! 10/10!

It was truly an incredible place to stay! It was such a peaceful area and was so refreshing. We had a group of 11 ladies, and there was more than enough space for all of us to relax comfortably. Kathy, our host, was incredibly responsive and thoughtful! She made our stay special with her kindness and attentiveness. Thank you for such an amazing getaway! The groomsmen and I stayed here for my wedding weekend. There was plenty of room for all 9 of us. We played board games and hung out inside the house and on the pier. We will definitely be back for a guy’s weekend. The house was ready early, so the host let us check in early. We didn’t get a chance to use the kitchen, but it was fully stocked with pots, pans, plates, and bowls. Beds were comfortable, lake views were amazing. While you’re here check out decks and docks, 360 grill, and Jake’s on the lake. Gadsden isn’t very far away and has a lot of food options and fun things to do.

This was an updated, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Would highly recommend if seeking a relaxing place to unwind. Plenty of room for everyone in our family.

Dave was an incredible host and his place was amazing! He provided so many extras that made the stay even better—firewood, charcoal, kayaks, life vests, paddle boats, and pool toys. I was genuinely impressed by how much was available to enjoy. Dave was also very responsive and made a point to introduce himself when we arrived, which made the experience feel even more personal. He even helped us get set up with a pontoon boat rental! The only small suggestion I have is to consider covering the firewood—after it rained, it was a bit tough to get a fire going. Overall, I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway from reality. We’ll definitely be back!

This is now the second time my boys and I have stayed in this amazing place. The minute you park, and step inside this bungalow, you instantly take a deep breath of peace! Everything is perfect. The view of the lake is breathtaking. Everything you’ll need for your stay is there and if it’s not, they will for sure make sure to take care of it for you. This place is top-notch and I can’t recommend it enough!

We had a wonderful stay at the lake house! Cody was incredibly friendly and communicated with us throughout the process. The place was absolutely beautiful—just as described. We relaxed, played cards, went fishing off the dock and enjoyed quality time with our family. Sitting on the back porch was a highlight! The rooms were beautiful, everything was spotless, and the atmosphere was so peaceful. Highly recommend!

Fantastic stay! The Effie house is absolutely adorable and had everything we needed to be comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful, with views of cotton fields and Lake Weiss; sunsets over the water were amazing. John and his wife were so hospitable and readily available anytime something came up. Highest recommendations!

Our family of 4 (two young children) absolutely had the best vacation at Magnolia Outlook! The amenities, the variety of things to do, the views of the lake, the privacy (even with neighbors) was just next level. Everything in the unit was thoughtful - like a starter kit for a fire, coolers to borrow, extra towels, very well stocked kitchen, games and blankets. We even requested a full size coffee pot and it was ready and waiting for us. We were so at home. The pool was amazing and clean and safe, and the lake was at a good distance from the house so that we didn't need to worry about kids getting away from us. The host provided a very helpful hospitality book that helped us navigate the area and find an amazing hiking trail that led to the river creekbed. There really isn't anything negative to say except we wished we could stay longer. We look forward to returning!

Laurie’s home was exactly as described. It was bright, open and airy. She has the home stocked with anything you could need for your stay. There were only a handful of us staying, but the home could easily have worked for twice as many. The property is so peaceful, with lots of outdoor space to enjoy the sun and lake. We were traveling for a bass tournament and the dock was a great place to tie up the boat, catch a few fish or just sit and watch the wildlife. We hope her home is available again next time we are in Scottsboro.

We had the best getaway! Plenty of space for our family, beautiful pool and views, and we loved kayaking each day! Our boys are already asking when we will return and we can’t wait to make that happen.

Catching a largemouth bass (once the friendly caretaker, Allen, showed me where they liked to hide) for dinner became a daily ritual and an unexpected treat! This is easily one of the nicest Airbnb's I have stayed at in many years!
