A great home base from which to explore the south end of St. Lucia. Close to the airport but not a noise issue as few planes land/takeoff, easy walk to town, bus stop out front, people were REALLY friendly, great restaurant attached and other places close, lovely beach and view. Special shout out to the resident pets .... one of the dogs in particular was my nephew's running mate. Toured Soufriere hot springs and waterfall from there. Took the 1.5 hour minivan to Castries for less than $5 US. I would book again and do more exploring.

Sunny Palm Villa is a wonderful retreat in the hills surrounding Laborie, with a beautiful view of the ocean in the distance. It was lovely to have our own private porch and the studio style room is perfectly sized for 2, with a well-equipped kitchen for a short stay. Brunetta is very responsive and helped us to arrange a day trip to Soufrière, and even picked us up from the village in the evening, as we didn’t rent a car. We walked to Laborie Beach most days, which is about 30 minutes on foot (manageable but you definitely need comfy shoes and to be aware of cars!). It is worth the walk though, as Laborie is a lovely village with a beautiful beach and great food, and returning to the Villa always felt like a nice escape. Wilson’s Restaurant is also just a few minutes up the hill from the Villa, and we had many delicious meals there after long days at the beach. If you’re looking for a peaceful, calm stay near Laborie, Brunetta’s place is perfect. We definitely hope to be back soon!

Great place to stay! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Place was very clean with a few mosquitoes. Cute folded towels and flowers were left on the bed and in the bathroom for decoration. Walking access to beach.
