Dreaming Buffalo is a sunny, art-filled cottage located on 11 supremely peaceful acres just 12 miles from downtown Austin. This sanctuary has all the creature comforts of home, including a full kitchen, walk-in closet, and record player. The backyard features a fire pit and comfortable seating to enjoy the stunning hill country sunsets surrounded by song birds, bunny rabbits, and deer. The area feels much more remote than it is. Peace & quiet in nature is the main draw here at our sanctuary.

We have a wide covered front porch with a wonderful Hot tub and a back deck with a table and chairs and bbq grill. Plenty of parking. Close to Hamilton Pool, Pedernales Falls, Reimer Ranch, wineries, breweries and restaurants Thirty minutes to downtown Austin. Our guesthouse is perfect for longer stays with a full kitchen and laundry.

We offer a relaxing experience with a country feeling only 15 minutes to downtown Austin or lake Travis. The cabin is spacious with an open layout and a 900 sq ft deck. Located in a non incorporated neighborhood there is less street lights, more star gazing and great bird watching. You will most likely wake up to birds chirping and see hawks, blue jays and cardinals among others. Ideal for a relaxing Austin get away.
