We had an amazing stay at the cottage. The house was just perfect, the hot tub was divine and the only neighbours we saw were the 2 lovely horses, Saffy and Angel.

Amazing stay here with my husband. The cottage was perfect for a relaxing and quiet weekend. The breakfast basket was a lovely touch and everything was as described in the listing. Joy is a brilliant host checking in to make sure everything was going smoothly! Would definitely stay again!!

Forestry Cottage, Hot Tub, Gym, Pen y fan

Claire's place was perfect for our needs as a base for a walk in the Brecons. It had a well equipped kitchen, and even Sky TV. Claire was a great host, responsive, easy to contact, had some local recommendations and even gave us a lift to the pub.

*HOT TUB* Miners Cottage - start of Brecon Beacons

KeenaRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful cottage. Well presented with well thought out amenities left for us. Plenty of space for the three of us and the hot tub was a delightful treat after we had explored for 11k. Dinner at butterflies was stunning, for three people who talk a lot, we were eating in silence because we were so happy 🥰 Will happily recommend to friends and family visiting the area. Thank you so much to Dayne and Curtis x

Duck Cottage - Brecon Canal

DavidRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
We had a truly relaxing stay at Ducks Cottage. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a peaceful break. One of the highlights was sitting in the lovely garden by the canal, watching and feeding the ducks— a perfect spot to unwind. Everything about the cottage made us feel right at home. Highly recommended.

Ty Carreg cottage, Bwlch, Brecon

KateRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Beautifully decorated cottage which was spotlessly clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable. Very spacious cottage with all equipment we needed for cooking. Matthew was very responsive when we wanted to light the fire one evening. We absolutely loved the location, with walking, cycling and activities close by (canyoning and zip wires) The New Inn is metres away and was very welcoming with super tasty food We’ll be back! Thanks Matthew for a great stay

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

MarianaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic week at Aberdar. The weather was amazing all week, so we spent our time outside enjoying the garden, orchard and stream, and sitting at the various seating areas to avoid the wind if it got too strong. We only made 3 trips away from Aberdar.. a stunning part of Wales and it was hard to put the camera down. A pleasure to drive on the pothole free roads and we hardly saw anyone apart from friendly farmers. Our anxious rescue dog was very happy enjoying the space and he was relaxed all week, as were we. Aberdar has it all.. very clean and homely, very well equipped with everything we needed, useful information file provided for guests, beautiful views and loved hearing the sheep, cows and stream. If you are tall, remember to duck when going through the doorways.. we kept forgetting! This was a very special trip for us and we will be returning!

Idyllic Forest Retreat - Abergavenny 12 miles

SusanRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Graig Ddu is a very special place. The house has a timeless quality to it, so much more than a typical holiday rental. The location is so beautiful, it is surrounded by the garden and trees up a lovely forest track (but still safely driveable) We enjoyed the walk along the valley to Llanthony Priory but also just spent time in the garden. We were there during the unusually hot weather and the house was a cool, calm escape. Really enjoyed the books and Positive News magazines, a much needed antidote to current affairs! Thanks for the updates before our stay Wilma.

Peaceful Stone Cottage among fabulous gardens

AdamRating, 5 stars4 days ago
What a lovely place to stay. Very cosy cottage, with surprisingly good bathroom and facilities. Location is wonderful. Plenty of nice walks, with a good variety of scenery and a few nice stops along the way. Equally, if you're not looking for an active break, could easily sit in the garden all day, admiring the beautiful views and listening to all the birds. Helena and Hilary were warm and welcoming, but also gave plenty of space, privacy and freedom to enjoy. Would definitely recommend.

A fantastic hideaway, tucked into a quiet lane but centrally located for all the sights you may want to visit. A perfect location to access to the Brecons and easy walking distance to the local pub. A lovely, well equipped and pleasantly provisioned accomodation, set in the middle of the Brecon's, so with plenty of walks nearby. Crickhowell is a lovely town with plenty of places for coffee and meals. The host, Keith, was really responsive, informative and supportive.

River Cottage - Idyllic & Chic Retreat, Wye Valley

RebeccaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We loved our family stay here - 6 adults and 4 dogs were all comfortably accommodated. Very dog friendly. Great location right by the River and beautiful walks from the doorstep. We walked to the Kymin (steep to begin with, but fantastic views), along the riverside and visited Symonds Yat on our last day. The cottage is deceptively large and beautifully decorated with a lovely garden (terraced) to relax in. The hosts were very helpful and responsive when booking. 2 local pubs and the lovely town of Monmouth less than a 10 minute drive away. Would not hesitate to recommend!

Mill Cottage, Llangynidr The perfect getaway

PaulaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
We spent a lovely 10 days at this cottage. The hosts were fabulous and offered us fresh towels and bedding half way through our stay. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them if you have any questions. Cottage is spacious for 2, very clean and has parking right outside the front door. Neighbours and the locals are all very friendly and helpful. The beautiful village has easy walks close by and hikes up all the different mountains easily accessible once you do your homework and decide where you want to go. Great base for exploring south wales and the Brecon Beacons, easy to hire bikes and a great cafe attached to Walnut Tree stores in the village which is well stocked and open till 8pm at night. Very handy!
