Very quiet and cozy space, we were very well received, ideal for family vacations or friends.

Functional, pleasant and spacious house. As described and photos. Host welcoming and responsive. There are no negative points. We had a great time. You can rent this house without hesitation. If we return to Portugal, we will undoubtedly try to rent this house again. There were 8 of us, 7 adults and 1 child. The pool is lovely. And the hosts are very welcoming. The bottle of wine offered on arrival is a bonus that is very much appreciated.

We had a great stay in extremely comfortable surroundings. Clean, spacious, well equipped. Fabulous swimming pool! Exiting the property a bit hazardous by car. The property is on a very busy main road and is a lorry route, you need two people to exit, one in the street as traffic flies by! A mirror situated so that you can see what is coming would be extremely helpful. The road is noisy but did not penetrate the house too much. Most shops, restaurants, etc are a short drive away. There is nowhere close enough on foot. Beds are comfortable but bed linen and towels are a little old and tired, they could do with replacing. Contacting the host during the week was problematical. Phone rings 3 times then changes to engaged tone. On one occasion all the electricity cut out, fortunately we were able to find the trip switches. We were aware that in an emergency we could not make immediate contact, a bit worrying. A minor point but as a party of 7, two sets of keys would have been helpful.

If Airbnb ratings went to 10 stars this listing would easily gain them all. Elmien and Cobus’ accommodation is very comfortable, extremely clean and in a peaceful and beautiful location. They are incredibly friendly and gracious hosts and people. If we are back in the area we will def stay here again and if you’re reading this you should too, you won’t regret it.

Antje’s Airbnb is just a dream! We are three friends who went for the second time and fell in love with the house all over again. Just an hour away from Lisbon Airport, it's easy to reach and yet feels remote and completely private. The pool is absolutely amazing – we spent most days sunbathing there, having lunch under the pergola outside, and chilling in the comfortable living room in the evening. A paradise to unwind and fully relax. Antje is an amazing host, and we want to come back ASAP!

The swimming pool terrace is very nice with a great view to the valley. The host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Great retreat for peace seekers. Close distance to Alcobaca, Nazare, San Martinho. Pleasant driving distance to Fatima, Batalha, Tamar, Óbidos. Beautiful surroundings and property. The owners are quick to respond via Airbnb and on site. The house had everything required to feel comfortable for a month I stayed.

Perfect house, it has everything we could wish for a good vacation. João is super helpful. Despite having the train nearby, it didn't bother us. Very clean house! We'll be back.

The apartment has stunning views of Nazare, it’s ideally situated for the amazing views & a 10 minute walk to the beach where there are lots of great restaurants. Carlos communicated promptly and provided suggestions of restaurants in Nazare prior to our arrival. The apartment was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our 5 day stay. Our stay was very pleasant. Upon arrival, we found the house perfectly prepared and clean. The access instructions were clear and easy to follow. It is an ideal house for groups, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable experience.

Great location, friendly host, beautiful apartment

Well placed for activities in the surrounding area Car required even to go to the beach downstairs ( we went down on foot….. we had to go up🤪) Monica and her brother are very friendly and welcoming. The house is a little wet (weather conditions require) air conditioners in all the rooms. Very nice and pretty house. The small bakery /bar/ tobacconist 100 meters away is a plus. The restaurant opposite also at 100 meters is another plus. I would recommend this house without hesitation.👍👍👍

We stayed at Casa Rosaria for a week and really enjoyed it. We used it as a base to explore the region and many places of interest were 30-40 minutes away in various different directions. The renovation was beautifully done and the space looks like it's straight out of the pages of a design magazine. The kitchen and pantry were well stocked with everything we needed. Sarah and Steve were friendly and knowledgeable hosts and we highly recommend Casa Rosaria at Chumbaria.

Excellent welcome with a lot of sympathy, very clean and very well arranged accommodation with all the necessary amenities. Very quiet location with very easy access to Nazaré with a view of the bay and the city very close.

Luis’ place was awesome - great location, fully stocked kitchen, cotton bed linens, and an amazing terrace with a grill. Butcher shop, bakery, and a mini market just steps away. Highly recommended to those who are looking for a home away from home close to the ocean.

Family of 9 enjoyed our stay in Andreia’s lovely home! Even more charming than the pictures. The yard and pool were so inviting! Beautiful modern home in the middle of a quiet quintessential town. We hope to go back!

Airbnb-Bewertung für Edgar We had a wonderful stay at Edgar’s place! The house is spacious, comfortable, and very well-equipped – from the kitchen to the outdoor area with a terrace and BBQ spot. It’s perfect for families, with enough space to come together but also to enjoy peace and privacy when needed. The surrounding atmosphere is calm and connected to nature – and the surf experience was a true highlight. The surf lessons were professional, fun, and super well-organized. We also had the chance to try a special horse-based activity nearby, which turned out to be a deeply moving and enriching experience for our family. Edgar was always available, communicative, and very friendly – we felt welcome and well taken care of at all times. The only thing we “blame” him for? We missed the 10-meter wave – under his supervision! 😉 Highly recommended for anyone looking for a real surf holiday in Portugal with comfort, nature, and heart.

This place is amazing, we have stayed in Airbnbs all over the world for the past 10 years and this one it at the very top. It’s a special place with a special host. A car is a must, but you are close to everything, we particularly loved Nazare. You are in very good hands with Kristine and her husband. We wished we could have stayed longer. The house is very nice for a family stay. It is spacious and has all the comforts, it also has a spacious garden. It is well connected to the main tourist attractions in the area. Deolinda and her family are very nice, nice and lend themselves to help and recommend if necessary. Highly recommended.

A friendly house, great for those who have small children. It even has toys and some equipment for the little ones. Hosts have always been attentive to our messages and what we need. Place back for sure!
