Roaring Fork Chalet Long Range Views Mt Mitchell

The chalet is a warm and comfy place to relax, cool off, hike/bike a trail or two, enjoy long-range views(elevation is 3,383 feet - Mt Mitchell is 6,683), listen to some good music, sip your favorite drink, and rejuvenate your soul. Roaring Fork Chalet has paved roads that are all well-maintained. The mountain roads are curvy, and the subdivision is steep in parts. No four-wheel drive is needed to get to the chalet except in the winter months. Dog accepted with/ prior approval (fee applies).

Celo Valley Retreat, with Awesome View

One of the most beautiful views in the whole valley, very close to rivers, streams, waterfalls, fishing, hiking, state parks, and more. Located in a private, quiet country neighborhood with little traffic. This 530 Sq. Ft. studio apartment has an additional 10 Ft. x 20 Ft. deck/balcony out front overlooking the Celo Valley with a spectacular view of the Celo and Black Mountain ranges (see photos). This apt. has its own private entrance. Sorry, we must maintain a no pet policy, no exceptions.

Creekside Celo Farmhouse

Tucked below Mt. Celo Knob, you can expect to enjoy spectacular views of the mountains, the sweet hum of the creek and our gardens. Come for a rustic, simple stay in our clean, light filled home! Located off Highway 80 on 5 acres near the Blue Ridge Parkway and surrounded by nearby hiking trails and the gorgeous Celo Knob and South Toe River. Closest towns are Burnsville (15 min) & Spruce Pine (20 min). Super close to Camp Celo, Mt Mitchell, Waterfall hikes, Penland, Arthur Morgan School.

Relax in this cozy, singular cabin on 32 acres. You have private river frontage for swimming, tubing, fishing or just relaxing. Visit glass blowing, pottery, weaving and wood working studios nearby. Penland School of Crafts is 20 minutes away. Choose from a wide variety of hiking trails, including the crest trail of Mount Mitchell, the highest peak east of the Mississippi, or driving the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Asheville known for its micro-breweries and eclectic downtown is an hour away.
