Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

Converted studio with plenty of light and air. The apartment is designed as one large room over 2 floors, however, the bathroom is separate. Located on a quiet residential street in Aarhus C. Purchase of parking space can be ordered. Neighbor to the University, Business School, Old Town and Botanical Garden. Here's everything you need for a short or long stay. Within walking distance of most things. Easy to get to by public transport. Access to private terrace. Not suitable for children, as the home is not childproof.

Decorated so the style fits the house, with small sweet furniture and lots of knick-knacks, most of them recycled. not quite like the old town,😉 but almost. An experience for you who appreciate peace and coziness in a different home, with the sweetest and most beautiful garden.

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗
