Holiday rentals with a kayak in Central Illinois

Super cool place, looks just like the pictures. We loved being outside and the hot tub was awesome. Even on a rainy day there were so many things to do inside with all the games and streaming devices. The rooms were all very spacious and comfortable, the bathrooms were clean and well kept. A highly recommended place to go.

The view over the lake is priceless.

Derek was an amazing host, very helpful with all of his tips and communication. The place is great, our family loved it, and we can’t wait to stay here again!

Amazing place, stunning views, and incredible amenities. We’d give it 6 stars if we could. The early morning hot tub over looking the lake was so peaceful and relaxing. From billiards, to fishing, driving golf balls into the lake, and games galore, this place is fun for the whole family! The friendly and knowledgeable host provides a river themed stay and adventure that we will never forget.

My family really enjoyed our stay. It was nice to wake up to the water every day. The house is exactly as described and fully stocked with just about everything you could need. There is a park, restaurants, and a few shops that are within walking distance. Rhiannon responded pretty quickly anytime we had questions. Would stay again if we were to come back to the area.

We had a great stay here. We realized after we arrived that we had previously stayed at the home next door. It's a great little lake with kayaks and a paddle boat. We also used the fire pit for smores. We went to the pool area and also attended a summer concert and fairy garden class. Peaceful stay!

Perfect getaway for a long weekend on the lake and golf course. Huge, clean open area kitchen/dining/living room. TVs in the bedrooms. Screened in porch and walk around deck on overlooking the lake. Kayaks, paddle board, pin pong table, & medium sized gas grill. Host was super responsive. Book it, you won’t regret it.

Very cozy home, super clean, just like the pictures but better. My son had so much fun on the pedal boat fishing. Having a place out front for our dog was accommodating and let us relax as well. She has everything you could possibly “what if” need for your stay, we will definitely be keeping this ace in our back pocket when we are passing through again!

Amazing private location with awesome views of wildlife a mere 100 feet from the back patio. Very easy to access once you've checked in! The TV quit working during our stay which was a bummer, but we asked the host for any possible options and there was a new TV installed within hours! Amazing customer service. Will be staying again!

I’m obsessed with this place! I live in a very populated area with a ton of traffic, this place is a little bit of heaven! It’s so clean and quiet. I’ve been here with my bff and my husband. It’s a perfect place for both. I love it here! I will be back!!!

We always enjoy our stay at the Legacy cabins at Wildlife Prairie Park. It’s so peaceful and pleasant! Sitting on the patio with coffee in the morning watching the bison, elk and Canadian geese is so relaxing. Loved the park!!!

Our stay was perfect! Alisa was an accommodating host and easy to communicate with. Her place is exactly what is pictured and is as described. My kids loved her DVD collection and we had a great time playing games — we were indoors mostly since the weather wasn’t cooperating for fishing. We felt completely comfortable!

This was our second visit to this lakefront home. Great view, peaceful, clean and comfortable. Mary, the host, is friendly and responds quickly to messages. This is the perfect place for my sister and I to get away from the city and relax. Thanks Mary and Tim!

This Home was amazing! My family loved it! It was comfortable and inviting. The neighbors were so nice and helpful! Sean responded in minutes to fix lock and after w/ all of my questions! This home is somewhere i would go back to, as well as recommend to ANYONE traveling to Decatur,Illinois… we did not want to leave

Great location within walking distance of Grand Bear’s water park.

We loved our stay in the beautiful and peaceful location and cabin. The bed was amazing and the surrounding windows made you feel like you were in nature while offering amazing views. Can’t wait to return.

The house was set up with everything a family could want. The beds were comfortable. The 4 outside sitting areas and huge dining table gave everyone room to hang out. Maddy had lots of board games and even a bag game that the kids had room to play in the family room. The grill/smoker was a wonderful surprise, too. We will book again.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Lynda's cabin. It's right on Matanzas Beach, minutes from Havana. The pictures don't do it justice! The cabin felt much larger than expected. Lynda has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully stocked kitchen and BBQ grill. The views are gorgeous, and sitting on the deck or by the firepit during sunset is not to be missed. There are some great restaurants / bars in Havana, including Babe's, Stag Tap, Lulu's, and Riverside Grill. And of course Peaches for ice cream. Lynda was very helpful & checked on us to make sure we got in & had everything we needed. I would love to stay at the cabin again!

The cabin was awesome, and the setting was beautiful. Caught four bass within the first five minutes of fishing right off the shore behind the cabin. The basement and Deck space were great aswell.

Had a wonderful visit. Th kids loved the room upstairs. Would love to visit in the summer.

We had a great stay at Bookers Cabin. the view is gorgeous. The small swings were the perfect touch. Family had a lot of fun swimming off the dock / on the lilypad and fishing. We caught bluegill, a small walleye, and a decent size catfish. Kids had a great time. Wish we had stayed longer than we did.

We had a peaceful couple of days. Loved the paddleboards for exploring the lake(s).
