Whether you need a country getaway or a place to lay your head after a football game, our cottage in the foothills of upstate SC is the perfect spot for both. You’ll find us tucked away just outside the quaint little town of Six Mile, 10 miles north of Clemson University and in close proximity to 3 of the upstate's favorite lakes: Lake Keowee, Lake Jocassee and Lake Hartwell. Here you’ll enjoy the serenity of country life without feeling “too far out" or away from all the upstate has to offer.

Hagood Mill Hideaway

This cabin near Historic Hagood Mill with private fishing pond is perfect for a weekend of relaxing on the porch or while sitting the fire pit. The cabin has a kitchen and gas grill . Smoking, vaping, e‑cigarettes are NOT allowed in the cabin, porch nor the property. We provide a gate pass to Table Rock just 15 min. away. (If the pass is lost during your stay, you will be charged $105 fee)

The Wildflower

Enjoy a relaxing experience at this centrally-located spot, away from the hustle and bustle but only 6 min from Clemson (10 min from Clemson University), nestled in the country in a peaceful, safe neighborhood with lots of privacy surrounding. The cottage has a front porch with 2 chairs, a 2 person hammock, grill, and a fire pit (wood is provided) with three lawn chairs. There’s a queen bed and also a CordaRoy beanbag (*bed #2) that opens up to a soft bed that sleeps 1 adult or two children.

Basement apartment in Pendleton w/ sep. entrance

This is a basement apartment in my personal home with its own separate entrance, bathroom, and kitchen. Parking is on the street in front of the house and there’s a concrete walkway that takes you down to the entrance. It’s a studio style apartment with your own thermostat, a king bed, ceiling fans, over 500 sqft, and a fenced backyard for your pup if you bring one. Originally a '60s outbuilding, it was transformed in 2018 into a warm, private retreat beside the woods. With a full kitchen, flexible sleeping options, outdoor dining, grill, firepit, and more, it’s the perfect escape for families, couples, or friends looking for a weekend adventure or a gameday getaway.

We are an easy 15 minute drive to Clemson, less than 5 miles to SWU, 7 miles to Duke Energy. Smart location for the mountains & lakes, visiting colleges, and graduation. Tiger tailgate space available for an additional fee. Hikes, waterfalls, 12 Mile river & Lake Hartwell are nearby. Friendly dogs are fenced or in our home. Come enjoy neighborhood & country living at its finest!

Whether you're here for the big game, visiting your favorite college student, touring your future university, or just visiting beautiful Clemson, SC, Renfrow's Retreat is the ideal place to call "home" for your visit. Downtown Clemson and lots of great restaurants are walking distance along with free bus service around town. If staying in is preferred, you have a fully equipped kitchen and dinning table, comfortable living room with WiFi and a smart tv with preloaded streaming services.

Spend time by the pond and cast a line for a simple, relaxing escape (fishing poles not provided). Private and serene, yet just 5 minutes to Walmart and Oconee Memorial Hospital—and only 13 miles to Clemson. The perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. Minimum age to book is 25 years of age.

BRAND NEW 490 sq ft tiny house/cottage nestled in the woods in a country setting. Complete with a queen bedroom, a twin/day bed and then a queen bed in loft ( comfortably sleeps 4 adults and one child). We are conveniently located 10 miles from I-85 exit 1 on S Hwy 11. 20 minutes from Clemson, 8 minutes from Seneca, and just a short drive to many hiking trails, lakes and parks in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge mountains.
