Holiday rentals with breakfast in Havana

La ubicación de la casa es genial. Elizabeth fue encantadora y nos ayudaron a conseguir chofer, Pedro, en un coche de los 50. El conductor que nos llevó al resto de lugares de Cuba super bien. Muy recomendable!

Margarita's house is one of the most beautiful homes I've stayed in. The pictures don't actually do it justice. The back yard is very large and lush, full of fruit trees and song birds. The pool was a great place to spend the afternoon. The home has everything you might need. Margarita was very quick to answer any questions that we had. Niurka and Nieve, the sisters who cook breakfast and clean up, are so wonderful. We are gluten free and our daughter is also vegetarian. They provided great breakfasts full of fruit, cheese and eggs any way you want them. They could not, obviously, provide gluten free bread. However, we brought our own pancake mix and they became experts very quickly. We also asked them to prepare us some meals, which were delicious. The cost is similar to what you'd pay in a restaurant, but we had so much that we had leftovers for the next evening (and then some). A great chance to have some tasty Cuban cuisine. The house is in a small neighbourhood right across from the fortifications. If you want to get over to the other side of the harbour, you'll need a taxi (about 10 cuc). It's very peaceful. I really can't say enough about this place!

My friends and I had a wonderful month-long stay here. Beautiful spacious apartment, very centrally located. Ulises, Teresa, Camilo, and Barbera are wonderful, kind and attentive hosts. Highly recommend!

The cottage was the best of three different places we have stayed at when visiting Vedado this past year. Loved the artwork and the breezy patio. Beautiful garden.

Although this is booked through Jose, the home is owned by Rafael and Ivis. They are very kind and personable. They arranged for transportation to and from the airport in authorized taxis. They were awaiting our arrival and were very welcoming as soon as we got there. As our first trip to Cuba, we were somewhat in shock by our new surroundings, but as soon as we walked into the home we were relieved to see how modern it was. They keep the fridge full of drinks (water, soda, cerveza) for a small fee per choice. Amenities they include are towels, bedding, toilet paper, and air conditioning. Not all rentals in Cuba offer these. They can also arrange for breakfast each day which the neighbor, Janet, cooks in her home. She is also very friendly and welcoming. There is a housekeeper that comes each day to change the sheets (after 2-3 days) and towels (daily) and to also clean the kitchen and straighten up the place. She was not intrusive on our time - we only saw her a couple times as we were leaving for the day. The house is in central Old Habana. You are surrounded by the locals. Be prepared to hear the local vendors walking up and down the streets selling their goods (bread, sweets, tamales, empanadas, etc.) from 7:00 am - 11:30 pm. It is in walking distance to Central Parque where you can find local restaurants and bars. It is also not too far from Calle Obispo where you will find souvenir shops, restaurants, bars, and national cafeteria. However, to get to the beach, the Fort, Vedado or anywhere else outside Old Habana you will need a taxi or driver, which they can help arrange.If you're looking for a day excursion, we recommend spending the day at Playa Santa Maria. It is about 30 minutes away by car. We enjoyed our time in Cuba and it was great meeting Rafael and Ivis. We highly recommend staying at their home.

incredible value. we have the entire place to ourselves and it was just four of us. super helpful staff that gave recommendations on things to do and where to go along with exchanging money and making meals on demand. we hung out with them and got to really enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this location for groups that want to be close to everything and walkable. also nice that there is security at the house every evening and staff available 24/7 to help with any needs.

A great place! Superb interior, very atmospheric, we loved the paintings, decor pieces and lighting featured. Amazing bed and mattress in the main bedroom too. However, all three balconies are overseeing a busy road. Because of old cars the engine noise is very prominent, I suggest taking earplugs. The windows, obviously won't provide enough noise cancellation. Location is brilliant too, right in from of the Capitolio!

This is one our favorite places to stay in the entire world! We feel like family here. Allan and Natalia are fantastic hosts, with restaurant recommendations, personal followup with any questions that may come up, and they make sure your stay is the best it can be. We also got to see the cleaning service in action when we said that they could go ahead and come in for a scheduled cleaning before we went out for the day. No wonder the place always looks clean...it is clean! We watched as the cleaner wiped every surface on the kitchen cabinet doors, even. And everthing in the entire apartment was sanitized to exacting standards. We were impressed! Don't book any other place in Havana. This is home!

Es amable, servicial, atenta, cariñosa, discreta, respetuosa...mi hija y yo estuvimos unos días malitas y su preocupación y familiaridad nos confirmó que estar en su apartamento fue un acierto. Apartamentos de más o menos confort podemos encontrar sin lugar a dudas, lo difícil es encontrar un anfitrión que sepa conjugar la atención y a la vez respete tu privacidad y espacio vital y en Diana se da ese equilibrio de manera excepcional. Su apartamento está ubicado en una zona inmejorable del Vedado donde hay todo tipo de servicio y desde el cual te puedes desplazar sin problemas a otros lugares y de no hacerlo, las terrazas del apartamento son perfectas para descansar con un buen café o lo que apatezca. Gracias mil Diana por ser tan especial, mi familia y yo quedamos más que satisfechos y recomiendo a la Comunidad Airbnb, que en La Habana no pierdan la oportunidad de estar en su apartamento y tener la dicha de conocerle. Elisa and Miguel made everything possible to make our stay the best experience. Water supply is something that the neighborhood struggled for days but they were able to address the issue and avoid running out of the less time. Elisa was always responsive and kept the condo clean while we were out, she also offered to wash/clean our clothes at no cost to ensure that we can spend the less water possible. Through them, we were able to get to know the best way to get immersed in a safe and respectful manner with locals. All of us who stayed in Alberto&Elizabeth place had a wonderful and unforgettable experience.

This is absolutely my number one choice to stay in Havana. Only bad thing is I'm letting everyone know about it so there won't be many vacant days for when I return 😁

We loved the Twins apartment. It was by far the most beautiful and comfortable place we have stayed in Havana. Plus the mobile phone, elevator, wifi and great AC made our stay so easy. We returned to the apartment frequently through out the day to cool down. Having refreshments and kitchen staples available was great. Roberto arranged a car to pick us up at the airport and so it was smooth sailing to the apartment and we didn't have to worry about the directions. The exchange of cash was easy and helpful as it was taken care of quickly and with no fuss. And I can't say enough about the glorious pink terrazzo floor. Breathtaking! We will definitely return on our next trip to Havana!

Tolle Wohnung, die sehr sauber und gut ausgestattet ist! Alex und seine Schwester sind sehr nette und hilfsbereite Menschen, man hat sofort Fragen beantwortet bekommen! Man war in 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß in der Altstadt Havannas. Leider war das Viertel sehr laut und dreckig, aber das ist wahrscheinlich nur dem europäischen/deutschen Empfinden nach so. Havanna ist eben etwas anderes als eine deutsche Stadt…

La estancia en casa de Karina ha sido magnífica. El lugar está en pleno corazón de La Habana y a la casa no le falta detalle. Además, la recepción ha sido muy eficaz con dos personas pendientes de nuestra llegada.

Nuestra estancia en la casa de Isa fue muy buena. Desde el recibiendo de Umberto, uno de los encargados de la casa, quien estuvo preocupado por nuestra llegada ya que nos retrasamos por culpa del vuelo. Los desayunos son abundantes y riquísimos con sus deliciosos jugos de mango, platos de fruta, tostadas, tortilla y un largo etc. Quedamos tan encantados con el trato recibido por parte de Umberto que repetimos estancia en la etapa final de nuestro viaje. A destacar también la actitud de Mercedes, hermana de Isa, que nos trató como si fueramos de la familia. Echaremos de menos las charlas sobre historia cubana. Gracias por todo, esper

My family and I had the most wonderful stay in Villa Vera. We all believed it had to be the greatest Airbnb in the city. We were given a Cuban phone which was extremely useful. Yenier's staff always responded to us right away and they gave us so many great recommendations. We did a full day beach excursion and were taken to the most gorgeous spot. The phone was also very helpful to arrange for taxis to take us where we needed to go, often at the last minute. We also made the very smart choice to have a dinner cooked by the private chef on our first night. What an absolute treat it was, the food was incredible, probably the best meal we had in Havana. Having dinner in the house is a must. The staff was extremely kind and attentive. Having wifi in the house was excellent as it can be difficult to come by internet in Havana. Overall our stay was close to flawless, and I would definitely stay in Villa Vera again.

They were great.. been very accomodating. House has very comfy beds. Showers had awesome water pressure. Breakfast was fabulous also. Joli was wonderful

Central location,secure building,supportive staff.We were educated about the community and its rich history. Restaurant recommendations were great..Safe and comfortable. A real feel of history..Breakfast and coffee was wonderful.Highly recommend this gem .Frank,Fernando and all staff were top notch . We learned something from everyone there..

This place was amazing! I highly recommend staying here. It is very clean, very spacious, had great working A/C in the bedrooms and my favorite part was the rooftop patio. Great views, privacy and a wonderful breeze! There are two ladies who greeted us upon our arrival who spoke perfect English. That made it very helpful as I do not speak Spanish. They were very kind and made us feel very welcome. They will arrange anything you need from local taxis, tours, massages, places to eat etc. Staying here made my trip to Cuba that much more enjoyable. It’s nice to have a spot to relax and feel truly comfortable at the end of a long day after touring Havana.

I extended my stay for an extra night. Very comfy and the hosts are always helpful and kind. Excellent place and top notch hosts!

Javier y su familia, fueron muy buenos anfitriones, unas personas muy amables. Javier nos dió unas indicaciones muy útiles para conocer con tranquilidad. La habitación, el baño, la terraza y el lugar es tal cual como se ve en las imágenes, un espacio muy bonito en la Habana. Recomendamos totalmente este lugar.

If you consider to visit Havana, please do! I know its not the best time because of the heartbreaking situation there but i enjoyed the stay so much because it was not overfloaded with tourists, but enough to meet amazing people still. Cuba needs us tourists and this place is just wonderful. Clean, safe and spacious. The veranda is beautiful, the breakfast amazing. And i only met great other people staying there. Its also not too many rooms, so you always also have some privacy. If you consider visiting, this place is welcomes you perfectly.
