"The Window to the Sun" is located very close to the viewpoint of the Portas do Sol, the Castelo de São Jorge, the Pantheon, the Fado Museum, getting a few meters of transport, shops, cafes, restaurants, fado houses, bars, flea market, museums, art galleries, craft shops ... is in the center of your stay perfect. We had a wonderful stay at the villa! The house was exactly as pictured - clean, modern, and bright. The pool and deck were beautiful and we spent many evenings just enjoying that space. The neighborhood is quiet and you are a very short drive from the town and the beach. It’s a great spot to do day trips from as well. There is also a large supermarket right nearby which was great to have. It was hard for us to leave and we definitely recommend this house!

We had a wonderful stay! Just a short summary of pros and cons: + Antonio and Maria were great hosts - communication and help was excellent when needed. They brought fresh bread every morning which means less driving to the next town as a guest - fantastic! The house has an amazing view. which is almost unbeatable. The neighborhood is calm with no hotels/noise. - Compared to the fotos it was a bit smaller and older/with signs of normal use than we expected, but of course its sometimes difficult to tell by pictures. Since its southern Europe, be prepared for some insects (has nothing to do with the accommodation but might be helpful to know) - but Antonio and Maria had us prepared with some mosquito repellents and insecticide sprays. The lower bathroom has a strange smell when the drain hasn't been used regulary - but Antonio offered help immediately after we wold him and eventually it improved . All in all a great stay just with some small hints you should know - thank you again!

The location is excellent, within walking distance to grocery stores and a bakery; easy driving distance to downtown, beaches and Sítio. The pool was lovely and the beds very comfortable for our group. Paula was easy to reach and very responsive. Nazaré was my favorite place in all of our Portuguese adventures and cannot wait to go back.
