A quiet, clean private room with Queen bed and ensuite bath, at The Salida Hostel. Includes the best view on the property, a view of the towering Collegiate Peaks. The deep blue and gray colors and the fireplace make this a cozy and delightful room. Guests have access to all other hostel amenities, including common room, kitchen, bbq area, board games, and river access. A ten minute walk from downtown, close enough to enjoy the nightlife, but far enough for peace and quiet.

Charming room at the Salida Inn. We were able to easily walk downtown. There’s also a river trail that leads you by a fishing pond. The kitchen was easy to use and store leftovers.

The Salida Hostel exceeded my expectations from off street parking to the beautifully restored, modern amenities imside this historic building. Very walkable to the historic downtown district. During the evening I did not hear a sound from the other guests. I slept well in the Red Mountain room with the window open and a box fan. I will definitely rebook when I return to Salida for more hiking.

Phenomenal stay! We were simply looking for a dry place to crash for the night, only to find a beautiful, friendly community in a gorgeous space. Staff was beyond helpful, generous with their time and recommendations. Space was wonderfully renovated, with easy, comfortable community spaces and well designed private areas. The word hostel can conjure images of greasy kids parked everywhere, staying up and making noise until all hours. This was an entirely different experience - quiet, friendly, and relaxing. Salida itself was also a pleasant surprise, from the blacktails walking the sidewalks to the great restaurants and easy access to great hiking. I'm marking this one down as a define place to return in the future!

Easy self check-in and check out process. Very close to Mt Princeton Hot Springs, which was our activity for the weekend. Would definitely recommend.

Elbert Lodge Room at Deer Valley Ranch

I loved my stay at Deer Valley Ranch. The property and the lodge were beautiful and well-kept and offer rustic charm. I felt like I was truly able to "escape it all" at this sleepy dude ranch. I love that there are hot springs pools on site for a private soak, but also loved how close I was to Mount Princeton Hot Springs resort for dining and spa services. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again!

One of my favorite Airbnb stays to date!! The unit was beautiful - every single detail considered. Spotlessly clean, comfortably decorated, well stocked (like, everything: kitchen, products, robes, and on and on) - The view from the living room was incredible. We will be back!

Throne Room - Penthouse at The Shorehouse Hotel

Our family of five came into town to attend a wedding in Buena Vista. Host was accommodating to our arrival time, and the place was inviting and spotless. The building had a fresh smell and the decor was modern and bright. The views from every room were stunning. We walked everywhere from the apartment and found great local shops and restaurants. We plan to come back when we can spend more time enjoying the town and nature.

My family and I enjoyed our stay in Pitkin. The host was very welcoming and invited my girls for a duck race outside by the stream and the girls continued the fun on the 2nd night. Overall, a nice and quaint place to stay!

Perfect size for a solo traveller or a couple that's looking to spend more time outdoors exploring the beautiful surroundings than staying inside. Robin and her husband are very thoughtful. They made sure I made it to the cabin with no issues when they didn't see a vehicle outside and knew I was supposed to be there. I would highly recommend their lodging at the Stumbling Moose for those looking for a good basecamp to explore SW Colorado!
