The Clonmellon Lodge is an 18th c. gothic mini castle recently restored, newly refurbished bathrooms and kitchen, all in one floor, with easy access to the grounds of Killua Castle. Mary‘s accommodation was absolutely wonderful., warm, cozy, and thoughtfully decorated. I felt very welcome, especially with the generous food. Thank you so much. The place is extremely well equipped (even an air fryer!) The bed was incredibly comfortable. I slept so well. The bathroom was also a highlight, with a large shower, lovely warm water, and a heated towel rack, such a treat! I also appreciated the smart little details, like the bedside light switch. The town itself is extremely charming and very clean, and the whole area is just beautiful – peaceful, well-kept, and perfect for walking or hiking. Mary was a pleasure to write to – so kind and caring. Thank you Mary so so much 🩷
