Went down for tailgate and tall boys 2025. This site wasn’t far from the concert and costed about the same for a 2 star hotel closer in town so this place Was Definitely a good bang for my buck. Would stay again

We truly enjoyed the Eliza Gothic home. We came as a family of 5 to explore the Maquoketa caves and the home was just 3 miles from the state park. We had fun traveling to Bellvue for dinner on the Mississippi River, and Dubuque for the Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium. The home kept us comfortable, grounded, and organized. We spent a lot of time on the back deck and the kids enjoyed the fenced in backyard for kickball games with friends. The town had some unique shopping which was fun to explore. As for the home, it was clean, EXTREMELY well stocked, and secure. All doors had deadbolts. The kitchen had spices, oils, a gorgeous coffee and tea center provided, and plenty of paper products. This is the first Airbnb that goes above and beyond to provide those. They didn’t limit the number of dishwasher or washer tabs or trash bags and the towels were soft and plentiful for a family of 5. Five stars for sure! Very responsive host. Would definitely book with him again!

Joseph space could not have been any better. It was even better than the pictures that were displayed in his listing. The home is simply and minimally decorated, but very homey and comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked with very nice stove, refrigerator icemaker microwave coffee maker, pots, and pans dishes glasses Utensils, and anything else you might need. The surrounding landscape is gorgeous and peaceful for sitting on the deck, having a glass of wine and enjoying the peace and quiet and all of the beautiful lush greenery that can be seen beyond the beautiful manicured yard. Absolutely would stay there again to get away from city life, and enjoy some peace and quiet.
