Cottage along Lewis Creek

SherryRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
The is the perfect little getaway cottage nestled among mature trees and near a river. A screened-in porch was a nice addition as we were able to listen to a cacophony of birds every morning including veery, red-eyed vireo, ovenbird, warblers, and more! The cottage is cozy, and the kitchen is stocked with basic items needed to cook meals, if desired. It is very quiet at night. Note that the cottage does not have a TV (but there are puzzles, cards, Scrabble, and a shelf of books and magazines to keep you occupied. Cell service is spotty, so you may need WiFi calling enabled. The drive there takes you on tree-lined, unpaved roads, but even with a full day of rain, they were very drivable and the directions provided by the hosts were perfect. We would definitely stay here again, so that we could explore more of the area and the trails on the property. It was very rainy while we were there, so we didn't venture on them.

Little City Brick Apartment A

UdayRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Curtis was very responsive to a concern we raised about the heater in the bedroom not turning on. He brought his handyman with him and sorted out the issue in short order. His desire to make us feel comfortable was not lost on us and we would definitely consider staying here again if our travel plans bring us back to Vergennes.

Very cute space and great location, close to Burlington. Well stocked kitchen and perfectly clean. Kind and responsive host. A few steps in the unit but if you can manage that, you'll love it.

Historic farmhouse apartment (The 4 Seasons)

The farmhouse was a perfect location and a great place to gather with our siblings. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed, and the space worked well for us. Carol was ver responsive as a host. We would come back again.

Dog-Friendly Secluded Cabin

EmilyRating, 5 stars8 months ago
We had an amazing time staying at Debbie’s place this past weekend. It was so quiet and peaceful - the sunsets and stargazing are incredible! There are plenty of trails to explore, but the fenced in yard itself is quite spacious and was perfect for our active pup. You can see the main house from the cabin, but it still felt very private. WiFi is fine, but true to the property notes, I wouldn’t recommend trying to stream anything/video conferencing. The bed was comfy, shower was hot, and the kitchen was well stocked. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall weekend getaway, and definitely plan on returning next year. Thank you, Debbie (and Alfie!), for your hospitality!

Beautiful, 1 BR guesthouse

PamelaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
This is a wonderful place to stay: spacious, bright, and immaculately clean. We loved the location in the midst of the countryside yet close to inviting small towns and the city of Burlington. Nearby Raven Ridge is a great hike with some stunning views. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer.

Stylish home for families near Lake Champlain

ElizabethRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our family's stay at Joanna's Charlotte home exceeded all expectations! The spacious, light-filled rooms with exposed wooden beams made us feel immediately at home, while the high-end finishes in the kitchen and bathrooms added a touch of elegance. The layout is perfect for families—two distinct living spaces allowed our kids to have their own area while adults enjoyed quiet conversation. The thoughtful touches throughout—from the antique furnishings paired with modern comforts to the fully stocked kitchen—showed incredible attention to detail. Joanna was incredibly responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless. Being just 20 minutes from Burlington gave us the perfect balance of peaceful countryside living with easy access to restaurants and activities. Our family already can't wait to return next summer—this home is truly a Vermont gem!
