Our homestead, Misty Isle Acres, is our little imperfect oasis, nestled within the beautiful Helderberg hilltowns of Albany county. Our in-law apartment contains a bedroom, full bathroom, and living room with TV (inc. Netflix & Disney+), DVD player, and futon. There is an enclosed porch and deck, complete with tables, chairs, and grill. We also have a large pond and woods to explore. Please note, this is a working homestead; the grass isn't always mowed and sometimes there are animal smells.

I greatly appreciate the clear instructions and thorough description of how to find and get inside the space. Once inside, we were welcomed with a personal note, chocolates, and a beatiful leaflet with all of the pertinent information we would need, fun details, and more. Everything was immaculate, the apartment spacious and well appointed (we truly had everything we needed)--it is obvious the hosts put a lot of thought into the details. I can't recommend this AirBnB enough.

As usual Rod's place was a welcome respite in a very busy schedule and a comfort to return "home" to. A walk to the nearby pond and park helped to keep me in nature and fresh for the day's journeys. His yards are an oasis of birdsong and trees! Very private. Added touches of covered and lighted pathways and grab bars and handles in all the right places. Once inside, peace embraces you. I love his place and only hesitate to say so because he will be so booked up! Yet, I trust there will always be a place and time for me. The last time I was here I had my brother from France stay with me - this time a friend drove down from Canton for an overnite and she has now decided she would use AirBnB too! Rod is very gentlemanly and thoughtful and gracious and I appreciate his hospitality and care. Susannah

Mary Ann’s Airbnb was my first and definitely will not be my last. So much nicer than a hotel. The beautiful landscaping and garden accented the place. The Airbnb was cozy and very quiet. We had access to a mini fridge, a microwave and a Keurig. We were pleasantly surprised to find coffee, creamer, bottled water, and disposable cups, plates, bowls, and silverware. The Roku TV is just what we needed after a long day of exploring the area and visiting family. Motion controlled outdoor lights helped us find our way when we got back after dark. When in the area again, we will definitely stay at Mary Ann’s Airbnb.

Nice location in a quiet neighborhood. Great house, very clean and newly renovated. All the rooms are a nice size & very comfortable. New bedding and all the supplies you might need. Very communicative and helpful host. Highly recommend.
