Our stay with Marie and François in Ménerbes was a truly memorable experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely cared for and warmly welcomed. The property itself is beautifully rustic, with an understated charm that reflects its authenticity. The apartment, housed within the stone walls of a 12th-century structure, offered a unique experience, particularly for those with an appreciation for history. We were especially delighted by the presence of the resident cats in the garden, which added a warm and homely touch to the idyllic atmosphere. Dinner was of outstanding quality, and the breakfast, though light, was well suited to the setting and our expectations. We would highly recommend this location to anyone seeking peace, character, and a genuine connection with the Provençal way of life.

Fantastic stay, ideal for couples looking for peace and comfort We greatly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful home. Everything was provided: from comfortable furniture to a fully equipped kitchen. The house is perfect for one couple, possibly with children, but actually it is especially ideal with the two of you. We found the two spacious bedrooms to be a great advantage – useful if you feel like changing rooms, for example in hot weather or alternating in terms of views. We combined our stay with work, and the house was excellent for that. The super fast internet connection was really an asset. I was able to work smoothly and without interruptions all day, with the occasional break to stretch my legs or enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s, and Catherine’s apt is our absolute favorite! We loved the spaciousness—the rooms were larger than we expected and the balcony was huge. Bed so comfy, bathroom squeaky clean, kitchen and dining room just right for the two of us, lots of places to sit and relax. We felt so at home that we didn’t want to leave. Catherine’s directions were super easy to follow and her recommendations for restaurants outstanding. It was our first time in Menerbes and we fell in love with it. We will definitely be back!

Lovely apartment in a very central and convenient location in the old city. Apartment was big, and rooms were well sized. We had a lovely stay and would recommend!

What can I say? Absolutely the best experience using Air BNB with Brice as our host. He greeted us upon arrival, carried our bags to the 3rd floor and showed us the apartment and how everything functioned. He left us some fruits, drinks and snacks to ensure we were comfortable during our stay. His place was spotless. The unit is recently renovated and located no more than a 5 minute walk to Aix Historic district. The unit also has parking which is rare in Aix. Would highly recommend his place to anyone coming to Aix. He also met us when we checked out and offered to take our bags down for us. Just an absolute classy person. An excellent apartment in the heart of the old town. Beautifully decorated with charming French antiques and art but not over decorated at all, a selection of pretty dishes and glassware that made lunches and breakfast from the daily farmers’ market in Aix a joy to prepare. Spacious, clean, super comfortable bed, elegant tub and shower, accommodations for our baby. The list goes on. We’d stay there again in a heartbeat. Moments from the best cafes, boulangeries and restaurants. We enjoyed ourselves so much and slept very well here. The only thing to note with luggage and a baby, is there is no elevator and it’s 6 floors up. A good workout in the heat but the place is air conditioned and beautiful so it’s worth it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

We spent 1 night in the beautiful accommodation of Cécile and Didier. It was sparkling clean and very tastefully furnished. It was wonderfully cool inside when the temperature outside was >30°C.

We had a wonderful stay at Alix’s flat in Aix-en-Provence! This was perhaps the most stunning rental we have stayed at out of dozens of them. The view from the Terrace absolutely cannot be beat and we ate outside multiple evenings listening to the occasional church bells and birds chirping. The size of the rental was just perfect for our family of 5. The rooms were clean and updated and the bathrooms really nice. The kitchen was sizable and updated and perfect for cooking several meals after picking up vegetables and meats from the nearby market. As other viewers have noted, you do have to climb four stories of steps. But it was extremely well worth it! There are several restaurants and a coffee shop just outside. If we come back to Aix we would definitely stay here again.

Thanks to Laurence for her welcome, her very well-equipped accommodation (commechez soi), spacious with private and quiet garden. Beautiful birdsong and no disturbing barking. we enjoyed the calm, the Sainte Victoire mountain as well as the hike of the 2 dams (Bimont and Zola). Perfect

We had a great week. Audrey is very welcoming, bubbly, and reachable at all times if needed. Regarding the apartment, I try to find something negative but I see nothing. It is extremely clean, it smells good when you enter, storage galore (which is rare), an ideal area for a couple or even 3 people and of course a view of the beautiful port accessible in 2 minutes on foot. In short, to be redone as soon as possible.

Very nice studio, well equipped, comfortable bedding! We had a 10-hour drive, the self check-in is really convenient. Virginie is very responsive in exchanges, which is appreciated. We recommend this accommodation, and if we return to the area, we will gladly rent it again!

We spent a great week in Gwendolin's beautiful and well-kept apartment and felt right at home. The quiet location within walking distance of the Vallon des Auffes and many beautiful bathing opportunities is perfect. We spent beautiful long evenings on the fantastic roof terrace and would have preferred not to leave at all. Gwendolin was always super easy to reach, flexible and helpful. We would recommend the place to anyone and come back anytime.

Damien was an AMAZING host! We had a funny emergency with the washing machine that resulted in him buying a new one for us during our stay. He was so fast to act and was just an incredible host. Great location. The patio expands the living space morning and night. The AC worked great on a warm day. The clothes washer & large drying rack outside made laundry easy. Only a short walk from the water and many shops and restaurants. Two beaches to pick from. Plage de Bestouan is a beautiful pebble beach but nerve racking walk close to vehicles so we opted for Plage Le Grande Mer. A great choice with sand & pebbles, and a beach club and all restaurants nearby. Le Golfe has buffet breakfast in the morning with real pancakes for Americans.
