Beachfront holiday rental in Chatham

This is a great cottage … excellent location, everything you need provided . Can’t fault it. We had a fab time , would definitely recommend & I would book again.

Host is very responsive. The house is clean and complete with necessities. We love the top floor. The location is great. Highly recommended!

Tara was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive, helpful and accommodating before I had even arrived, and this continued long after my stay when I had left an item behind. The Thai Retreat was idyllic and looked exactly like the photos - a beautiful tiny home surrounded by lush gardens, creating the perfect private and quiet escape. Only a short 5-10 minute walk from the centre, and 20 minute walk from Tankerton. The location was perfect, and the amenities will not disappoint. I highly recommend this stay and look forward to visiting again for another weekend escape. Thank you so much for having us, Tara.

Albion House was the perfect venue for our 3 generation gathering. 6 adults, 1 toddler & 2 dogs were perfectly at home with plenty of space. The location is perfect, right on the beach with easy parking & a selection of good eateries just around the corner. We would highly recommend Loaf for breakfast, Docker Bar for a fine range of local craft beer & Fat Raj for a top quality & fresh curry. The only problem was our stay was too short. We have never been to Herne Bay . As it such fine weather ,and rather than me paying silly prices for a hotel in London, we found this gem . It very near the beach and the facilities Herne Bay had to offer were fantastic , both busy and quiet and great notices of local facts eg Amy Johnson. Also easy walk from railway station. Followed up the hosts recommendation of local facilities and saw fabulous sunset from the pub . The host answered very quickly the one query we had . Would recommend for even singles, as it felt a safe area , as well as couples with or without children, or in our case a doggy . All facilities for him also .

Wonderful stay, such a shame we only arrived for 1 night, perhaps next time we will organise our diary better, so the full weekend would be perfect! Great place, walking distance to the beach (like 2min walk! which was perfect for our little kids) and I wouldn’t change a thing! We so hope so to be back!

Lovely couple of days in Sandgate- the apartment is perfect. The roof terrace huge and a complete sun trap. The flat is so well equipped and especially loved the telescope upstairs which we used to look at the strawberry moon! Definitely recommend for anyone wanting some rest and relaxation by the sea.

This is a cosy cottage with great views of the sea and simple access to the beach out of the back garden.

We absolutely loved staying at the Beach Hut. The location was perfect, we walked into Margate and Birchington. Train and buses so close if needed . Westgate High street was so close and the Swan which was 2 minutes away was great for food and drinks. It was really peaceful and extremely clean, such lovely touches with coffee/tea, milk, water and cereal. We loved the chilled atmosphere sitting in the front of the hut for drinks or coffee , so relaxing. We would definitely stay again and also recommend for a perfect relaxing break and although we only got to wave at Lorraine , David was so friendly and checked to see if all was ok for us . Great communication and we absolutely loved it. Thank you so much for our stay and how attentive and responsive you have been 👍

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. ThAnkyou gill for your hospitality.

Had the best two nights at Tracy’s home from home. Was everything she had described, very comfortable I had the best two nights sleep. Close to the beach and you can see the sea from the van. Thank you I will be back 😊

Hazel’s place is a fantastic place, right on the beach front and short walk to the facilities in this lovely holiday park. Had everything that we needed, all clean and well equipped. 100% recommend!

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

The Old Log Cabin balances style and comfort. It's personal, but not cluttered, and has a surprising amount of space. Best is its location, in the frontline, looking across the shingle to the shore, with a hardy garden, and a perfect indoor/outdoor living area that makes you feel you are part of the wild while still providing shelter from the harsh Dungeness elements. You feel part of the quirky Dungeness world of humans and industry when you look back, but alone in the landscape when you look forward. It's a perfect balance. And Adam is a great host, communicative and friendly.

Such a fabulous cottage in Old Leigh, nice interior, comfy beds, little sitting out area, close to shops. We would definitely return.

We spent 5 nights at Debra’s beautiful home in Tankerton over my daughter’s half term holiday. It was exactly what we needed - a home away from home. The perfect space for her to study and relax together, while allowing me to catch up with friends and explore Tankerton, Whitstable and all the lovely restaurants and shops. Thank you so much Debra, I hope we’ll be back.

Amazing last minute stay! Amenities and extras were brilliant, had everything we needed and more. As for the flat itself, it was very spacious, homely and so much natural light. The views were the selling point and they didn’t disappoint! Nikki was a great host, responded fast and would do anything to make the stay special. Can’t wait to return!

Superb!! That really sums it up. Clean, comfortable, all amenities new , great view. Hosts went out of their way to provide nibbles and wine and drinks. Didnt feel like a rental felt like a home!! One of the best holiday rents ever

Great place to stay. Close to town and beach. The accommodation was very well equipped. We absolutely loved it. Having a courtyard garden and parking was a real bonus. Thank you.

The flat was fantastic. I’m very picky about cleanliness, but I couldn’t find a single fault in that home, everything was very clean, and there were plenty of towels. Nothing was missing. White dominated the whole place. Loved it!! I would highly recommend it to everyone, and we’ll be back soon. PS: Vanessa, we’re so sorry, we couldn’t find a pen to leave you a note in the living room notebook, but I guess that’s a sign we’ll be coming back.

Beautiful and clean apartment which is very close to the beach with sea views. Christie was always friendly and very helpful. Would definitely stay again and recommend!!
