Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Chaudière-Appalaches

We had a great time. There are many activities in the surrounding area: visit Île-aux-Coudres (30 min.), hike to Mont du Lac des Cygnes (30 min.) and shopping in the town of Baie-St-Paul (10 min.). The beds were very comfortable. The common area is very bright and the small balcony is well oriented to enjoy the sun. A small point to improve is that we would have liked the grass surrounding the outdoor fireplace to be cut as it was long and did not make us want to go there. The description of the chalet accurately reflects what is there. We recommend this cottage!

This was the third time we rented the Black House and it's starting to feel like a home away from home. Proximity to the cross country ski trails is fantastic and the house is spotless, cozy and the kitchen is well stocked! Stéphanie is incredibly responsive to all messages and very friendly in all communications. highly recommend!!!!!

We loved our stay at Lise’s space. Plenty of room and in a quiet neighborhood. Located away from the busy city area yet a very short and inexpensive uber ride into the heart of the city. We even walked back a couple of times in the evening it was close enough. Highly recommended staying here.

Super cute place. Very very clean. One of my favorite airbnb ever if not my favorite. You may need earplugs at night because of the bar next to the house. But hey they are included with your stay!

Beautiful!! The house as well as the outdoor space were perfectly adapted to our needs as we travel with our two shepherd dogs. The kitchen is well equipped and comfortable for 4 adults. The photos and description are as promised. The host is friendly and quick to answer our questions. Access to the river and proximity to walking trails are a plus!! We highly recommend:)

A delightful mix of old house (hand-hewn beams and squared-off logs for walls) with new renovations (modern bathrooms, comfortable beds, very clean, etc.). The neighborhood is not particularly beautiful, but we were looking for proximity to the Mont St. Anne xc ski trails and this home is perfectly located for that, along with a small grocery store and gas station a couple hundred meters away. It is both cozy and comfortable, and we will gladly come back again, potentially with other family friends as the house has three apartments and would easily house a large number of people. A chalet perfect for tranquility!

We absolutely loved our stay! The hosts thought of everything — from fully stocked dishes and cozy bedding to coffee and thoughtful snacks waiting for us when we arrived. The space was spotless and beautifully decorated, and the grounds were immaculate. We met Holly during our stay and she was so sweet. Although we didn’t meet Nadine in person, she was incredibly responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay here again — it truly felt like a home away from home.

We spent three very pleasant weeks with our host. She is extremely kind, discreet and always smiling, and we really enjoyed chatting with her. The suite is comfortable, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The garden is beautiful, a real little haven of peace. And a special mention for his cat Billy, absolutely adorable! A lovely place to enjoy peaceful time with family or friends! We stayed in early June, and the neighborhood was beautifully green and picturesque. The home offers a stunning view of the hills and is tucked away in a quiet, private area. It was clean and well-equipped with almost all the amenities we needed. Marie was very helpful and responsive, which made our stay even more comfortable. Conveniently located about 30 minutes from Old Quebec and Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier, we had the chance to explore both the city and the national park. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful house. The property is spacious, clean, and offers a peaceful retreat with its private land. The spa and pool table were fantastic additions that made our stay even more enjoyable. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. Clean space as described within walking distance to all Quebec City attractions. Parking spot is small so we opted to leave the car in the garage and take Ubers or walk to the Old City. I think overall good value compared to staying in a hotel, however be aware there is a homeless shelter one block away where a number of homeless people are milling about on the sidewalk so walking home at night from the wrong direction was a little sketchy. Not a problem for four adults but not ideal if traveling with small children in my opinion.

Beautiful stay! The cottage is perfect, the kids loved it!

We had a nice weekend at Dany and Stéphanie's chalet. When we arrived we found that it was even better than in the photos. The cottage was super clean and well-equipped. The bed is comfortable. The living room/kitchen area is pleasant with large windows overlooking a small lake. A perfect place to relax.
