Cottage holiday rentals in Chaudière-Appalaches

Our stay at Alex’s place was wonderful. Six adults enjoyed our the absolutely charming house with plenty of privacy. Each couple effectively had a floor to themselves, but there were great spaces to be together as well. We were 15 minutes from old Quebec, 10 minutes from Montmorency. The house was perfect for our group, beautifully old world charming. Parking was easy and Alex’s communication was superb: he was very responsive and clear. I would not hesitate to stay there again. “A perfect peaceful stay!” The stay was absolutely amazing – the place was clean, cozy, and just as described. The surroundings were super peaceful, which made it perfect for relaxing and unwinding. Everything was well-maintained, and the host was friendly and helpful. Would definitely love to come back!

Nice quiet place, everything was as described, no bad surprises. Beds were confortable, which is something you can't see on pictures. Maybe missed a few simple things such as aluminum foil or an all-purpose cleaning spray, but it's just a trifle.

Wonderful place. The view over the fields was so peaceful. Not much view over the river. The house was bright and big rooms. This is the place for peace and quiet.

Brilliant stay as we enjoyed four nights in this little slice of heaven, just 25 mins from Quebec City. It rained the entire time - and we didn’t mind one bit. Exactly as described, we had no problem putting up our feet and soaking in the surroundings. Best soft serve we’ve ever had at the nearby Chocolaterie de l'Île d'Orléans (two min drive?). Also recommending walking along the beach areas when the tide goes out. A full drive of the island is mandatory imo and we also enjoyed a hearty lunch at Le Moulin de St-Laurent. Sebastien was the consummate host. Five stars all around.

Very good communication with Marc. It was my first experience with Airbnb and the chalet was very clean and matches the photos. Despite the weather not being in our favor, we enjoyed the comfort and location with a beautiful view of the lake. I recommend it.

We could not have chosen a better place than Réjean's chalet to celebrate Christmas with our family. We've been renting airbnb's for many years, but this was the most peaceful and fully-stocked rental we've ever come across. The owners thought of everything to make our stay cozy and inviting. Réjean made sure we had everything we needed ahead of our stay. The beds were comfortable, the rooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the surroundings were picturesque. We would go snowshoeing in the woods and enjoy a nice wood-burning fireplace and hot chocolate when we got back. And our boys loved sliding on the slope! We couldn't imagine a better spot for our family of 7 and hope to come back soon!

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful village of St-Jean-Port-Joli. The accommodation is really well located, you can't get better! A few steps from the river, its marina and all the other tourist attractions of the village. This is a 5*+ accommodation for the quality of the offer: good mattresses, bedding and pillows - superbly equipped kitchen - decor and furnishings more than perfect. It's up to date and well suited for small families. The host is very concerned about the comfort of the residents.

This accommodation is probably one of those with the best view of the Charlevoix landscape. The abundant fenestration, the wooden floors and beams, the fireplace and the layout of the space make it a vacation home that I certainly recommend! Thank you Marlene for this wonderful stay!

As mentioned earlier, the place was lovely. The view of the river was breathtaking. The house was also beautiful... warm and cozy. I've never rented an Airbnb with so many services offered...coffees, accessories...entertainment options. Jean-Luc was proactive and responsive to our questions. Plus, we were even offered a welcome gift. I would recommend this place without hesitation for people who want to escape from the city and enjoy a magical and welcoming place.

This is our second year staying there and we are still delighted. There were four of us: two adults, two children, it was perfect!
