The place is very nice and quiet, ☺️ excellent for connecting with nature, 🏞️ very clean and something very different ❤️🫰🏽

We absolutely loved staying at Hugo’s place - so much so that we extended by 2 days. The apartment is comfortable and cosy, and they have a beautiful garden you can relax in if you’d like. The kitchen has a microwave and filtered water, and a fridge if you need to keep fruit/breakfast. But the main attraction is Hugo! He’s so kind, going out of his way to ensure you have a good time. Thanks so much Hugo and family!

great place, nice to spend a night away from everything, we had a lot of fun with friends enjoying everything the cottage and cute place offered

For us, this was a break from the routine in the city and was everything we could have hoped for. We hiked around the property, saw the animals, prepared slow meals from the food grown on the land, lit the fireplace and really rested. The WiFi was so surprisingly good we actually had to hide our phones so that we could truly disconnect. The bathroom makes you rethink everything about modern plumbing, it is clean, beautiful, zero smell and the views make you want to stay in there! Ha! It was an amazing experience! Everything was very, very comfortable

We were delighted with the cabin! It is a beautiful place that has total privacy, it is in the forest, there are many birds and the local flora and fauna coexist in an incredible way 🫢 we love the place and hope to return soon

Fantastic place to put aside electronic devices and relax with nature, clean and beautiful rooms, super friendly and attentive hosts, very rich food (you can see that they prepare it with a lot of love)! A safe place! The truth is really worth it! We'll be back with my family soon! (As a recommendation, adults should go and if they have children, they should be at least 5 years old in my opinion) the play and recreation areas are great! 🙌🏽🍃🔥 10/10 P.S. We already miss the stuffed animal!! 🐕 ☺️

Excellent place and the best service

If your coming to San Cristobal de las Casas look no further, this is an amazing place to stay surrounded by beautiful nature and amazing people, the cabins are perfect and very cozy!

Everything is great

Everything was just like the pictures. The service was very good. The space is quite nice just like the attention. We were greeted with delicious bread ❤️ The place is easily accessible and secure.

We only spent one night, but the garden of silence is a very pleasant place as well as our cabin which was very nice, very clean and well equipped!

We loved Julio's place!! It is not for everyone but it's very special. It's rustic and simple, made of bamboo, wood, and concrete, but beautiful and off the beaten track. If you want something close in town with more energy then this place isn't for you. But we enjoyed being a bit farther from the center of town in a place that felt like we were next to a forest. It's about a 15/20 min. walk into town and easy to get to with a taxi. There are not a lot of amenities but we really were only there in the mornings and at night to chill and sleep, which was fine. Julio was really a wonderful, friendly host. He picked us up at the train station, invited us out one night, and arranged our tours of Palenque and the waterfalls. He was also very responsive. A great guy.

Lovely place. It has its own gated yard if you want to hang out outdoors. The place is actually bigger than it looks on the photos. Isa invited us to attend different events of her community, and we really loved them. She is also very responsive with many great recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

Pretty beautiful, at first I felt that the price was a little high, but my girlfriend and I loved it! The place is very beautiful, everything is very tidy. I saw fireflies after many years!!! It's definitely a place worth going to. I would definitely choose this accommodation again.

What a special little place. It is smack in the center of town but still feels quiet and hidden. The hosts are so so kind and even accommodated me an extra night after I messed up my schedule. They had fresh flowers and a big jug of water to make my stay that much easier and made sure I had everything I needed. The mattress is great too. This was a memorable little nook.
