Great location near lots of things to see and do within the neighborhood if you don’t mind commuting to the shinjuku/shibuya areas. Very comfortable room and facilities, we were able to cook and do laundry too which was convenient.

Tokyo Dome, Korakuen. Newly renovated. Downtown -6

Mark StephenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
we had brought our bikes from abroad and bikes from Narita. place was easy to find, although there was no parking nearby, we were able to park in the hallway. room was clean and lavatory was the same. due to location some road noise was inevitable. a few minutes walk from kombinis and the Hakusan station. will recommend for a stay in Tokyo.

Nomad Hostel East/ Single Private Room-Bunkbed #1

EJRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was very happy staying in Nomad Hostel East. The staff were all very kind and helpful. If you are arriving late, there is a self checkout process so you can go inside. It is not a far walk from Senso-ji and Asakusa Station. There is a 7-11 and other convenience stores nearby. I stayed there for 7 days and the felt the cost of staying there was worth it. There are some things to be careful of. Its walls are very thin, so I feel light sleepers might have some trouble sleeping if there are loud snorers on the other rooms. The toilet rooms are also fairly small, so larger sized people may have trouble using them. Overall though, I was happy and comfortable staying there.

Nomad Hostel East/ Single Private Room-Bunkbed #9

ViktoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I had a great stay at Nomad! The staff were very kind, and I immediately felt at home in my room. The facilities are excellent, with two kitchens, common areas, a balcony, and even a terrace with a view of the Skytree. The location is right by Asakusa – lively during the day but much quieter at night compared to places like Shinjuku or Shibuya. I always felt safe, and the nearby Sumida River is perfect for a peaceful walk. Yes, the walls are a bit thin, so you might hear other guests, but with everything you get here, that’s a small trade-off. Just use earplugs (they even provide some!), and you’re good to go. Highly recommend!

Standard Queen Room (breakfast included)

LivRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Stayed in cocts for our first two nights in Tokyo after travelling from the UK. Was a little bit apprehensive that I wouldn't be able to sleep due to noise of other previous hostel stays but cocts was both perfectly quiet & peaceful. The beds are comfy & the toilets / shower rooms are both private and tucked away from the bedrooms. The staff are also lovely & very accommodating with any questions you might have. They have a good communal space on the ground floor where you can have fried chicken / food if you are jet lagged like us & needing fuel asap. All in all a perfect experience for our Tokyo stay!

Smart Hostel Delivering Wellness [Superior Double Room]

LucaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was very nice and peaceful. We appreciated the flexible check in time and the staff was very helpful overall! One thing to take not though, we were in a very good room located on the corner away from bathrooms and showers. If you get a room near one of them it will definitely be noise due to the thin walls and doors. Worth the price paid and very well kept hotel.

The staff politely explained the building. The water areas around the toilet, etc., were very clean. Unbranded lotion, toiletries, and other amenities were provided. However, I was a little worried that the bunk bed would shake every time a truck passed by.

Nomad Hostel / Semi-Private Dorm / Desk&Chair #6

JaimeRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Nomad Hostel in Sumida City was a great experience. It's a 2-minute walk from a Lawson, a 15-minute walk to the main Tokyo train stations, and within walking distance of the Sumida riverbed, where you can take a morning walk or run. It was an amazing experience, and I loved that it provided more privacy and a lockable room compared to other hostels. Restrooms and Showers were cleaned daily by nomad staff which was definitely a bonus. As a plus, it’s a 30-minute walk from the Tokyo Skytree! I definitely recommend it for anyone planning a trip to Tokyo you won’t regret it!

Wonderful place! I highly recommend it. My only issue was the commute to central Tokyo, but it was only about 20min. And that can also be a good thing! There's a traditional bento shop right below who make some very good food in the mornings.

Nomad Hostel / Semi-Private Dorm / Desk&Chair #5

MaiRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Nomad Hostel 🥰 This place is truly great value for your money. To get your own little nook with a sliding door you can close behind you for this price is a rare find! Other guests were quiet and respectful in the dormitories - this is a hostel where you can just have a peaceful stay by yourself or be social with others in the common areas, however you wish. As someone who can be a bit introverted at times, I felt very comfortable here. One thing to note is that despite booking under this listing, I actually stayed in a different building next door that's one of several Nomad Hostel properties. I was greeted in the street by a friendly employee who then escorted me to the other building, though, so it was still very easy to check in. Remember to bring a padlock in case you wish to lock your sliding door, or your personal locker in the common area :) Nomad Hostel is a place I can wholeheartedly recommend 🙏

TOKYO-W-INN Asakusa Bunk Bed in Mixed Dormitory

DogaruRating, 5 stars4 days ago
A cheap and very tourist-friendly place. The room was very spacious, despite the usual trend in Japan for capsule hotels. Very clean, staff was friendly and always there to help with answering a question or showing how some stuff works there. Location is close to Sky Tree and the center Tokyo, Asakusa being itself a very nice place to go to and visit in the meantime. You won't regret coming here, the lounge is open for anyone and it has all the stuff you need (from coffee and tea to chopsticks and cutlery).
