Great spot with all the basics needed for a short stay

Located in a wonderful private garden full of flowers and birdsong. Next to walks and good for cycling; definitely planning to come back.

Exactly as advertised; very generous breakfast brought to the door of the hut by prior arrangement and at reasonable price. Bathroom hut basic but very decent shower with plenty of hot water and spotless.

Fabulous host, gave us the most wonderful recommendations. Helped with ferry tickets and buses to arrive. Beautiful location, so peaceful and calm and relaxing waking up to the sound of nature. Will definitely be visiting again!

What a beautiful cabin/shepherds hut and location. I booked a solo weekend getaway and travelled by train from London, getting a taxi from Woking. All easy. Hosts came to say hello and were super friendly and welcoming. I went on a couple of nice walks but could have easily hung around the cabin all weekend. Perfect for solo getaway or as a couple. Lovely stay for a few nights. The orchard is beautiful and completely enclosed even for our small dog (and child) so we could let him run around. Next to a quiet road, with occasional cars, the area is peaceful with the sounds of birds and occasionally the cows. We loved having the dining hut too so we could spread out a bit and toast marshmallows. Our five year old loved Dinosaur Island in the nearby country park and paddling in the lake there. We also had a wonderful day out on the Bluebell railway. Great short trip!

The best site ever. We could enjoy unique hut with a bathtub and private space. The scenery of the hill from there was so nice. Our dog could be a good friend of sheep in the next field and excited for a wild rabbit was running through the field. Facilities are well maintained and clean, especially the wood stove inside worked well and nice. Thank you for the stay and see you again! We found a good Japanese restaurant 5 minutes drive from the site.

We had such a nice time, the hotub was bliss and the animals were a highlight of our stay, especially Rusty the cat and the pig. The location is excellent being a 5 minute drive to the town and a short walk to the scenic winery. Would stay again 100%

Absolutely amazing stay at Laura’s place! Lovely location and the place was well equipped with everything we needed! Hot tub was easy to work and got very hot which was lovely! And we appreciated the extra snacks provided in our welcome basket! The peppermint tea was 10/10. Laura was very helpful from my first message. Highly recommend this place and we will definitely look at coming back!

We had a really great stay! The hut is in a peaceful location but a short walk to a great local pub. The accomodation was really lovely - spotlessly clean and and with a very comfortable bed! Tim was a great host and made sure we had everything we need. Highly recommend!

It was nice a cost inside the Ivey shepherd huts host was helpful and there was some lovely biscuits left on the side a pint of milk and bottle of wine in the fridge the surrounding was nice and quite and u was left alone

A beautiful, well presented shepherds hut, with beautiful views to enjoy as the sun went down. There were some lovely added touches with use of both a bbq and fire pit, milk and little pastries. Overall a lovely over night retreat from busy city life.

We have had most wonderful time!!! Shepards Hut was a truly lovely experience, peaceful, close to nature and very private setting which was much needed escape from busy life. Brilliant amenities, very clean plus lovely attention to detail. Bob and Nancy had made us feel very welcome and were brilliant hosts. Thank you!!!

Hilarys place was amazing , she was so helpful and the snug was perfect , washroom clean modern , the whole place was finished to high standards ,garden was private and beautiful we sat watching some unusual birds which came into the garden to feed , would definitely recommend the snug

Our experience at Mo and Ann’s hut was amazing. The place it’s exactly as you see in the pictures. It’s a lovely and comfortable place, very clean, tidy and nicely decorated. You will find everything you need and all environment-friendly. We have really enjoyed our stay and we will be back very soon! The lake is a little oasis of nature with so much wildlife to take in that I frequently forgot my painting and just sat taking it all in. Cloud cover at night stifled my plan to do a bit of star-gazing, but sitting by the fire watching the bats flit overhead was rather magical in itself. The shepherd's hut has an incredibly comfortable bed and I slept so very well after an invigorating solar shower! I came away with a well rested mind and body and would highly recommend it, if this is what you seek. The site is accessible by bus, but make sure you get off at Tudor Close (don't miss your stop as I did!)

This Air BnB was the perfect stay! It had everything we could ever need including marshmallows for the fire pit! Facilities were super clean, and excellent quality! Fairy lights and blankets made the stay super cosy and we are very grateful for a lovely lovely weekend! thank you soo much!

Absolutely amazing! This is such a great find! We had family staying at Whitecliff Caravan park so this was perfect for us as a couple who prefer something a little more alternative to a caravan! Every was as described, and more! All the little details had been thought of… from discounted ferry, fresh milk, bread and eggs (thank you!) plus soft bedding and local recommendations. The whole check in and out process was seamless and very private, but we knew help was there should we need it. We have stayed in a few Shepherds huts and this was by far the best.. clean, tidy with just the right amount of personal touches. Thank you!

I had a lovely stay at the shepherd’s hut, it’s a beautiful location and had all the amenities you’d need. Isobel was very friendly and responsive, and even offered to get the heating going on the pool for me. It’s useful that there’s a small M&S and nice cafe within walking distance too, so you’re not forced to drive for the essentials. Would definitely visit again!

Our stay at Kim's place was excellent. If you are after some peace and quiet, then this place is for you. Kim met us upon arrival, was friendly and very helpful. We couldn't have asked for more and no doubt we will definitely be returning! Raj and Judit

Fiona was extremely welcoming and helpful, all the information provided was clear and easy to follow, there was a number of extras in the property at check in and always at the end of the phone for any information we needed on the area. By far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. I could not fault the whole experience. Every message sent was responded to quickly, check in instructions were clear. They went above and beyond to make the stay special. The Shepherds hut is immaculately clean. We had champagne, a balloon, fresh flowers and petals on the bed to welcome us for our anniversary all at no extra charge. Every detail of the hut is well thought out and had a functional but luxurious feel. The hot tub was relaxing as was the whirlpool bath. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful yet you can quickly and easily get to London. We followed recommendations for Deliveroo and pub choices and we weren’t disappointed. Thank you so much we will be returning 😊

The Deer Hut is a total gem, tucked away down a country lane with a lovely outlook. Was so peaceful and I loved lying on the cosy cabin bed watching the sun go down through the stable-type door. Emma was really friendly and helpful, even lending me scales which I randomly needed! The hut has everything you could ask for and more - it's been beautifully fitted out with such attention to detail. I'll definitely be back!

Cosy, comfortable and charming shepherd's hut surrounded by beautiful greenery. Peter is a very attentive and friendly host. Came here for the South Downs Way 50k, so the hot tub was a welcome bonus! Would recommend to couples or solo travellers looking for a peaceful countryside retreat.
