I had a wonderful stay at Kate’s home, it was easily 3 minutes to the beach, she had all the needed cooking utensils and even more! And even had some bathroom essentials that was really appreciated

Bob’s house was just as described. It was clean and comfortable. There were lots of extra towels and quilts. The outdoor space was extraordinary. We saw herons, ducks and ducklings, geese and goslings, turtles and fish. There are plenty of chairs and tables. The yard was fenced and secure for our dog.

Such a wonderful little place for a beach weekend! The front deck and outdoor table was perfect for morning coffee and late night convos with the string lights. Highly recommend!

Such a beautiful place. Lisa was very responsive before and during our trip. The backyard is an oasis and an extra space to have fun and laughs with loved ones. The space felt homey and beautifully decorated. The bathrooms were fully stocked with towels and tissue. And the showers in each bathroom were the right temperature and pressure. It was like being in your own spa. We didn't cook, but if we did, the kitchen was fully stocked with spices, utensils and pots and pans. I loved the coffee bar that was fully stocked with sugar, creamer, and coffee. One of the best airbnbs I've stayed in, in awhile. Thanks again Lisa!

Fran's place was amazing. The house was extremely clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the water pressure in the showers was excellent. The house was a short walk from the beach and was in a nice quiet neighborhood. We would definitely stay at Fran's house again!

We had a great stay with no problems. The house is just as described. Plenty of space for a family. Several parking spaces and street parking. Well equipped kitchen. Very clear instructions on checkout.

We had an amazing time. The house was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the pool and short walk to the beach. We could hear the ocean from the master suite. The upstairs deck had view of the water. Everything about our stay was perfect. The area was nice and was quiet and peaceful. We will definitely go back and stay longer next year. Thank you!!!

Crystal's condo was spotless and an easy place to stay. Crystal was very proactive and made us feel welcome. her dinner suggestions were superb too! perfect for a weekend getaway in a resort atmosphere. Thank you so much, we highly recommend!

This place is so amazing from the way its decorated to how clean everything is in every room..it has anything and everything you would need for the beach or in the beach house and a quiet neighborhood i will definitely be staying here again 😊

This was perfect for my family of four and dog. We stayed two nights and would have loved to been able to stay longer. Ron was an excellent host. This felt like a private spa trip with the massive pool, hot tub, dry sauna, and steam room. We are local to the area and would definitely stay again!

The host was so kind and made sure we had a comfortable stay! The AC ended up not working due to an accidental mishap when she was working on her yard! She was able to get the AC fixed as we arrived to the Air BNB and we had the coolest room ever ( which we love) especially on a hot day! We are thankful for the time she took to get that done ASAP! She also had a wonderful cute cottage with all that you’d need for a short stay! It was equipped with great dishes and all the things you’d need for a perfect stay in a home :) it was extremely clean and decorated nicely for your small family! It also has a beautiful back yard oasis to sit out and relax or go for a swim :) you won’t want to miss this Airbnb!! Located near the beach and a great park and walking paths for you kiddos!! All you need nearby just a short walk away!! It was a great getaway for the weekend with a very kind host who is always there to help if needed :)

This is my 2nd stay in Krystal’s Air BNB. This was the place I knew where I feel safe and comfortable at. The location is close great restaurants and shopping locations. The neighborhood is very quiet. Krystal is responsive, friendly, and respectful. When I do visit VA again I’ll probably be at this particular Air BNB!

The house was super clean when we got there, the temperature of the house was great the entire stay. The pool was certainly clean, but since we went early, June the water was a little bit cold, but it felt really nice and refreshing honestly. There were three beach chairs and a wagon there that were helpful for traveling to the beach. There were available cups plate, utensils, and all the necessities that you would need, they even had shampoo and conditioner bottles there for us. We weren’t aware that there was a code to get into the house so instructions for check-in were a little bit unclear, but all I had to do is message and they responded. Overall, I would recommend staying here because even though the area surrounding isn’t the nicest, I felt safe the entire time at that house!

We enjoyed our stay and found everything to be as described/pictured. It seems like an ideal spot for a family vacation within easy walking distance of the beach, park and A.R.E. Center. Two things to note are that the building is on the older side with all of the charms/character of historic buildings (i.e. uneven floors in kitchen, low toilets, older fixtures, etc.) and it is not handicap accessible.

Dave & Anjeli have truly done a wonderful job with this Airbnb. Airbnbs often don't live up to their marketing but I think this is the first one I've encountered that greatly exceeded even our wildest expectations. There's something for everyone whether you're into gaming, music, cooking, the outdoors, or want easy access to town. The house was spotless, fully outfitted, effortless to check in and out, and Dave was perfectly communicative, always available when needed and on top of anything that came up during our stay but never felt overbearing in any way. This was the best experience I've ever had with an Airbnb and we would be happy to stay here again. A word to the wise- the Ladybug is surrounded by a nature preserve so it was buggy with both natural pollinators but also mosquitos and ticks which should come as no surprise given the timing of our stay. Make sure your pets are up to date on their tick preventatives and don't forget your personal pest preventatives. Thanks again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beach house! It’s located just a few short blocks from the beach—an easy and pleasant walk. The house was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We loved being close to both the beach and nearby restaurants and shops. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cozy beach escape!

Brian’s place had everything we needed to make for a relaxing vacation. It was easily walkable to the bay and within 30 mins to all the things we wanted to explore. Loved the layout of the house and the game room ❤️

What an amazing stay! I've never been satisfied with an Airbnb, the photos always are so much nicer than the reality - but Big Blue was actually even better than advertised! Merlyn's communication prior to arrival made things very easy. Accessing the unit was simple, and I felt safe with the self-locking doors. The unit was clean and so comfortable, with many personal touches - I instantly felt at home. I was overjoyed when I arrived and toured the unit. Really exceeded my expectations which was such a different feeling than all the other Airbnb I've rented over the years. The beach access was tidy and pretty, the gym and beach gear a nice touch, and the foot wash station was appreciated after my morning walks with the dog. I really can't say enough great things about my stay here. Hosts were friendly and helpful every step of the way. We mostly spent our time traveling around the area from VA Beach to OBX so I can't speak much about Norfolk/Ocean View. I would def rent Big Blue again.

The accommodation’s we’re in a nice quiet neighborhood close to the beach. It was clean and well organized. We had rainy weather but we were able to find lots to do. Would stay there again if we visited again.

Listen, this house is the house you want to stay at instead of a hotel lol me & my 2 year old stayed here & it just felt like home. The house looks exactly like the pictures, and don’t get me started on the bed, I slept like a baby, it was like being on a cloud, I kid you not lol. Jamey was so nice & answered and responded quickly. it’s a quiet neighborhood, everything is close far as food & shopping. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.
