Build in 2023, open concept, loft style, full kitchen, washer/dryer, private patio and outdoor area, Queen size bed and Queen Sofa bed to accommodate max 4 people. Owners live on site with 2 hypoallergenic small dogs (dogs have no access to guest area). Walking distance to local restaurants, coffee shops, boutique, district 1881, groceries, book store, hospital. Quality bedding, soap, coffee. Smoke free of any kind.

Designed as a nod to my heritage, Skoghus ('forest house' in Norwegian) was crafted for relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. The treehouse sits in the centre of a Scottish Highland cattle farm, with pasture and forest in all directions. From the yard, you'll be able to observe and engage with the farm's cattle when they come by. Inside, you can disconnect and unwind, with luxury amenities. Just off highway 1 with the view of Cheam mountain range. Modern 2 bedroom basement suite on a quiet street. A short drive to Bridal falls, water parks, Harrison and many more beautiful nature activities. 12 minute drive to Chilliwack. Enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning and unwind in the evening in the hot tub. We are a family with three children at home, while we are not loud and the suite is well insulated, you can expect some living noise.

Cozy Log Cabin

Our log home was built to replicate historical buildings in BC with a roof line borrowed from Quebec. The main floor is an open concept with a kitchen, dining area and living room. Bedrooms and bathroom are upstairs. I have a clawfoot bathtub but do not have a shower. The back yard is large and fenced for kids and a dog to enjoy. Bring your own wood if you want to use the fire pit. Bring pods if you want to use the Keurig or Nespresso.

In these rather adventurous times in our world, we invite you to watch the sun set early over the mountain and feel the cool breeze sweeping down its steep face. Go to sleep to the sound of a creek roaring in the distance, wake up to the sound of beautiful birds. Have a fire, play bocce, go for a hike through nearby teapot hill. Unwind in our space and let it all fall away. We welcome you to breath deeply and relax at our cabin.
