Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Chiltern District

Sophie was an incredible host and met us on arrival to walk us through the property and explain everything in detail. We had to book at extremely short notice due to unforeseen circumstances with our original booking. Sophie managed to fit us in perfectly between existing bookings and we're so grateful for this! The property is absolutely stunning with a gorgeous private garden. The beds were super-comfy and the accommodation was spotless, I only wish we'd found this property first! Thank you so much for everything, Sophie, you really went above and beyond and helped us out of a horrible situation with our last booking xx

Our stay at Anita’s place was amazing. The house is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully furnished. The garden area is a lovely too, and everywhere is so spacious, indoors and outdoors. The home was very clean too. The area is so quiet and peaceful, really is such a great get away from the busier cities and towns. Such a great place and definitely worth the money.

Lovely place in beautiful location. Very chilled out vibe. The river chess is about 5 minutes walk away. Didn’t meet the hosts but felt like I was in safe hands. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Priya's. She was a kind and responsive host, always quick to reply and happy to help with any questions we had. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent—just a short walk to Chorleywood Common, which is perfect for a peaceful stroll or some time outdoors, and very convenient for access to the M25. Despite being so well-connected, the home is situated in a quiet and leafy area, making it a restful place to return to. We would happily stay again and highly recommend Priya’s place to anyone visiting the area.

It’s hard to know where to start singing the praises of Leticia’s Daffodil Cottage. We are on to our next location, and we all miss this gorgeous, ancient cottage and its *magnificent* gardens. The cottage was comfy and well-appointed inside, with plenty of room for our family group of 7. We were all so sad to leave! The children (ages 7, 2 and 12 months) spent a lot of time exploring the gardens, and my son and I added 45+ new species to our Seek app. So much time, effort and pride have obviously been poured into this paradise, inside and out. My friends back in the States were blown away by the pictures I posted and shared. We loved going into nearby Wendover to purchase food and eat at Shoulder of Mutton. And don’t miss Rumsey’s Chocolaterie. Sumptuous desserts, and affogato was divine. We also spent a lot of time piled onto the big bed in the downstairs bedroom, especially during the rain. So many wonderful family memories were made. A big thank you to Leticia and her team.

This is a lovely little cottage in a beautiful village. Rosie was there to welcome us when we arrived. She couldn’t have been more pleasant and helpful, not just then but for the entire stay. The cottage was perfect for what we needed it for and the local pub does great food and the staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

absolutely fantastic place, we had a lovely time exploring St Albans and the flat is literally in the heart of the city. We couldn't ask for more value for our money and Molly has been exceptional, thank you!

I had a wonderful stay at Jamie’s place! The apartment was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable — it had everything I needed for a secure and relaxing stay. Jamie provided clear and detailed check-in instructions, which were incredibly helpful given the building’s multiple layers of security. The entire check-in process was smooth and straightforward. Overall, everything was great, and I highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed our stay at Sarah’s! As a family with a baby and a young child, it was perfect, peaceful and well equipped for our stay. We particularly loved having breakfast provided there in the mornings, and the view was fantastic! It is a short walk to Marlow city centre and we would definitely stay here again!

Ellens listing was perfect . We stayed for one night for a local wedding . Ellen was very accommodating. The air b n b was perfect for a couple. Very spacious with lovely bathroom . Cannot fault

Sara’s Studio flat is perfect, is in a quiet location, easily accessible has everything you need perfect for my needs while working away from home.

Yvonne's place was great, very homey and comfortable. The place was very clean, with everything that you may need being provided. She was really welcoming and helpful throughout the whole process. While the studio is on the side of the main house, you really feel a sense of privacy too!

Gabriella’s place was a in a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. We very much appreciated the attention to detail and all the extras provided. Thank you for a great stay! Sue and Dave

What a fabulous apartment. Unfortunately we only stayed one night but will definitely return for a longer stay. We’ve been to Marlow several times and this was a perfect base for walking into Marlow to its great eateries and shops. Great communication from Max and Carrie-Anne. Would definitely recommend.

Me and 3 others stayed here for two nights and used as a base for nirvana spa (5min drive away) was great location for that reason, Lucy was quick with responses and was kind to allow a later check out and also an extra car. The place is spotless and has everything you need. Would recommend

Susan is lovely and communicates very quickly, she met me on my first night and showed me around the apartment. She even left some snacks and some milk in the fridge for me which was a nice touch The apartment is immaculate, nicely furnished, very clean and well looked after, it felt very homely. Also something good to know is the entrance is completely separate to the rest of the house, which may not be obvious from the photos. The parking space on the drive is spacious, I was able to fit my van on there. I would happily stay here again.

Loved my stay in this beautiful apartment on first floor of a secure building. Very central for exploring the town. Plenty of cafes and restaurants along with independent shops and beautiful scenery. Everything in the apartment was as described and better. Beds, bedding and towels were top quality. Bedrooms are spacious. Great to sit at the window overlooking the square. Left our car in allotted car parking space during our few days stay. So easy to walk everywhere. Sian was a great host and we knew we could contact her if need be. All instructions were very clear and local recommendations helpful. We would highly recommend Sian’s place. We would definitely return if in this area.

This is an absolute gem of a place and location, with views right across the Darent Valley. I only wish we could have stayed longer! The place was spotless and everything had been perfectly prepared and very well thought through (from the local hand-drawn maps right down to the vast array of toiletries on offer). I can't think of a single thing to change or improve about the place. Diana was a lovely host and provided a lot of information prior to arrival. She had also found some suggestions of activities for us tailored to our interests, which was frankly above and beyond. We were very grateful and it was clear a lot of thought had been put in prior to our arrival. I could carry on for pages but in summary, we have already recommend the place to family and friends and we be pleased to offer our recommendation here too. Thank you, Diana, for such a lovely place to stay and we hope to be back soon!

What can I say? Simply perfect! Incredible place. the pictures are superb but cannot quite do it the justice it deserves. We were fortunate to have such lovely weather and felt so lucky to be able to stand by the balcony overlooking the castle with a coffee watching Windsor go by. The apartment was spotless. Furnished to a very high standard and oh so tastefully done. What a location too. Walk out the front door, turn right and within 30 seconds you can be strolling along the magnificent Long Walk. Turn left and you're immediately in the heart of Windsor amongst the bars, cafes and restaurants. We can't wait to return. Thanks Jonathan for such a wonderful stay. Brilliant host. Govinda was incredibly kind and responsive! If you’re thinking of staying here while you’re visiting the Warner Brothers Studio I would highly recommend, as it’s very close by and the cute Harry Potter references throughout were a nice touch.

This is my second stay at Sally’s apartment. She kindly reached out to offer me an earlier check-in if I needed it, I didn’t, but it was nice to be offered one! I arrived to find the apartment clean and inviting, with some welcome treats that always go down well. I’ll definitely be back again. Thank you Sally!
