Romeo and Wendy are extraordinary hosts! Would give them 10 stars if I could! We were able to meet them in person and they are lovely, warm people. The apartment is beautifully decorated with bright guatamalen style colors and beautiful artwork. The kitchen is well equipped, bed very comfortable, and plenty of hot water for showers. There is a private balcony off the bedroom that is great to enjoy the morning sun and the cool evenings. Orotava villas, beautiful grounds and wonderful staff. Nice heated pool. Many nooks to relax and enjoy the quiet, calm atmosphere. It is a very secure, safe property with a security gate and guard. The location is superb… walk to edge town is only 10 and to parc central about 20 minutes. There is a complimentary shuttle you prefer. Antiqua a wonderful city full of charm and warm people. If you visit Antiqua Romeo and Wendy villa is the place to stay!

Karla's place was beautiful and really captured Antigua's charm. It was close enough to the center of Antigua yet quiet and private, so you can rest well. Karla was one of the best hosts I have ever had! Unfortunately, while in Guatemala, I was bit by a stray dog and had a really difficult time finding somewhere to get a rabies vaccine. Karla was a huge help to me by calling several places to try and find the vaccine for me. She definitely went above and beyond her responsibilities as a host! Would definitely recommend her place to stay at. It was one of our most favorite Airbnb's of our entire trip.

Great place that’s located in a nice area of Antigua. Pros: - Great shower with hot water, good drainage, nice lotion, etc - Extremely responsive host - Very safe and secure (double gates) - Clean linen and showers Cons: - The outside area has a garden that seems to attract a lot of mosquitoes during the rainy season

One of my favorite Airbnbs EVER! A magical wonderland! The loft and home stole my heart! The art, decor, history, mesmerizing garden, location, and it's hosts Marie and Sergio make this home one of a kind! Sergio was super responsive throughout our stay and accommodating! He even assisted us in scheduling a private taxi, lovely and funny Rudy, back to the airport making the overall experience hustle free! We absolutely loved our stay and I highly recommended to anyone visiting Antigua! You will thank me later! We were so closed to the center, while also enjoying the quiet of the loft. Waking up in the morning to the most amazing garden did my soul good! It brought me back to my grandmother's garden. Such a joyful and wonderful experience! Though I was so sad to leave, I know it is not a goodbye but rather a See You Later! Maria and Sergio, thank you for being you and for hosting my sister and I during our time in Guatemala! 100% recomendado. Excelente apartamento, ubicado en cerca de la entrada de Antigua y el hotel Santo Domingo, cuenta con todas la comodidades necesarias para pasar un viaje espectacular en Antigua. Se encuentra en una zona segura, debe fácil acceso y su dueño Alejandro se encargará de que tu viaje sea aún mejor. Alejandro fue siempre servicial, atento y la comunicación excelente. A sólo pasos de la casa, se encuentra una tienda/pulperia, lo cual lo hace aún más conveniente. Este Airbnb + host + Antigua= la combinación perfecta para pasar unas vacaciones geniales.

We had a great stay at Ronaldo’s Airbnb. It’s very quiet but close to the centre and the apartment had everything we needed. The host was very responsive. The warm water in the shower was not always working well, but when we send the host a message it was fixed quickly.

Mirna nous a accueilli avec beaucoup d’humilité et de simplicité. Elle nous a proposé une eau de riz pour nous rafraîchir. Le logement était chouette ! Décoré dans un style colonial typique et dans une résidence sécurisée. Le seul bémol concernant l’emplacement c’est qu’il reste à une quinzaine de minutes du centre ville en bus. Mais c’était plutôt bien tombé puisque nous sommes arrivés en semaine sainte et que la ville était très animée. Son compagnon et son fils ont été très gentil et très arrangeants. Ils n’ont pas hésité à nous donner les bons endroits à voir et visiter. Ils nous également amener à vivre l’expérience unique de la semaine sainte parmi eux et nous expliquer ! C’était un bon moment et une belle rencontre ! Nous recommandons ! Merci à eux pour ce joli moment et ces premiers jours au Guatemala ! Lucie et Marc !
